Perfect for Puppy
I got this to store my little pups dog food in so that I did not need to get in and out of a storage bin I have for both my dogs dog food. It is a great size for a small dog. The food lasted about 2 weeks for her.
It’s a decent container
The container itself is fine, the lid sucks getting off and on. It definitely DOES NOT hold up to 5lbs of food. Would work best for treats.
Lid Hard to Get Off, Except for Cats
I bought four of these Because I foster, I often have dogs eating different kinds of foods I find the lid hard to get off A handle on top would have made all the difference albeit probably at a higher price point On the large size that I have it really is a two handed task to remove the lid. But when my cat pushes the canister off the counter, as she did this morning, the lid sure pops right off. Unfortunately, one of my dogs found the giant mess before I did, and ate about two pounds of puppy food before I intervened. So either a lid that stays on securely OR one that is easy to get off would be great; these canisters have neither.
I want to like it but
I was super excited to have these canisters pop up. Especially because they were a holiday, buy 2 get 1 free item. I am trying to get rid of all my plastic containers and these are stainless steel and fit in my kitchen drawer. I found 2 in another discount retailer and needed more. Unfortunately, I should have read the reviews. Unlike the others, these do not have a lip to help pull the lid off making it difficult to open. I want to like them but they are disappointing
what’s with this lid?
It’s cute but the lid is ridiculously hard to get off. Would not recommend unless you have the hand grip of a monkey.
Cute Dog Canisters
The dog canisters are so cute. When delivered, I opened package, packaged well, both lids had swirling scratches and other scratch marks, disappointing because they were not cheap
kibble storage
I was disappointed with this container. It is difficult to open and the lid was rusty.
Too Hard to Open
I needed a little container to store the 2.5 lb bag of cat food. The 10 cup canister is the perfect size; very pretty stainless steel; but no handle. The canister seals so tight it is impossible to get the lid off with spilling the contents out. Just don't suitable for storing dry food.
Cat food storage
These canisters are just what I needed, two colors for my cats different foods, fit in the cupboard, not to big, not too small.
Would not open
Lid basically sealed closed. Never got it off. No lip or silicone ring just metal on metal.
