I have a Boxador. He destroys toys. He got this toy for Christmas (yesterday) and it hasn't really left his mouth. He loves to fetch so he basically follows us a round plops his wet slobbery duck on our feet and waits to retrieve it. So far, it is completely intact. Will it last months? I'm not sure, but it has lasted longer than most plush type toys and he LOVES it! At the low price, a few months would be enough considering how much he likes it.
My dog went beserk for this thing. Carried it around the house and chewed it to pieces within about an hour. He loved it, but kind of expensive for a short-term toy. Also worried about the fibers and little bit of stuffing choking him.
First off this toy does get chewed up but this is her favorite fetch toy, it is the only toy allowed in her bed. I can't promise your dog will love it I just know that ours does and for that I give it a huge thumbs up and 5 Stars.
I have a 2 year old chocolate lab who will destroy any toy. This one lasts her months. I usually buy a new one ever few months because the duck smells so bad. Most hardy chew toy I have ever bought.
Purchased this a couple of weeks ago however Benji tore it apart in a week. I am going to try and salvage it by sewing it up flat. Benji is a lab, but must have a strong jaw.
My 20 lb dog ripped it up within a week. The fur on the top side comes off too easy and makes a major mess. Thought it would be tougher but was a bit disappointed
I immediately started to pull at the fur on the top of the duck and it came right off. Of course I ate it. My human came right over and took it away and was upset I could block my intestinal track and that it did not last longer than five minutes.
Our 2 year old lab is really hard on toys, bones, etc. He can demolish even the toughest in a couple of hours. But this one has lasted and he loves playing with it. So far no breaks in the toy or the binding. Highly recommend.
All three ducks are poor quality(as compared to toys obtained from other stores). Squeakers don't work and fabric tears easily. No photos available. Given out as gifts. Embarasing.
This toy is durable and hasn't been chewed up yet! My 40 lb. dog likes it better than his other toys..for now, anyway.
