Does this box have the hang over protection inside where the lid meets the pan, to stop the urine from leaking right out onto the side of the box and the floor ?

The top of the litter features locks on both sides to secure it in place.
How high is the entrance, with the hood attached? I saw one question that asked for height w/o the hood but I need to know the entire height that my cat would be needing to climb into as he has only one hind leg.

The height from the bottom of the door to the ground is 7.5 inches tall.

The overall dimensions of the litter box are 22.7 x 17.3 x 16.1 inches (length x width x height). The interior dimensions are 21.5 inches x 16 inches x 15.75 inches.

Great!!

Was wary about the new litter box for our orange buddy, but the fact that the front opens and pulls back is great. I left it open for a few days to teach our kitty that it was ok to go in. Then after a couple of days I let the flap down so that by then he was accustomed to using the litter box. Cleaning the box is a little less fun because to do a sufficient job I have to take the entire lid off, but it’s not too bad. Definitely recommend.

Great enclosed litter box

This litter box is made of a durable material and has a good size for a medium/large cat. Easy to clean and both of my cats are able to use it easily! Box keeps unpleasant smells in much better than an open litter box but will never be completely gone. If you are coming from an open litter box make sure you train your cats to use it in 3 steps(open no lid/lid no door/lid and door).

Pretty nice

I like the fox and my cats took to it right away so that made me very happy. The plastic is a little flimsy, I thought it would be more sturdy. But I’ll just have to handle it gently.

Waste of $

Bought this model by accident. The box itself is very shallow but wide. To get a minimum 2-3 inch of litter in order to fill the box you will waste a lot of litter over time. The lid is huge which *might* be worth it if you have a large breed cat. However, since it's so shallow that would probably still be an issue. My next paycheck I'm getting a different box. In the long run it will be much cheaper.

A Winner for Wobby Cats!

Covered litter boxes can be hard to find that work for my cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH/wobbly cat syndrome). BUT, this one does it. It is low enough that he can easily enter and exit and the door isn’t too much for him to get through. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Litter Box

One of my cats used it with no problem. The door is light & easy for her to push through. The "princess" of the house will not use it with the door down. What I love most about this is that I can easily position the door up & she has no problem. As this box is downstairs it's really easy to lift the door up when she's down there.

Very Flimsy

Extremely thin and flimsy. Once you put litter in it, you can not carry it by the handle. The handle bends and the entire top pops off. The handle also doesn’t lay flat in the cutout on the top, it’s stays slightly raised.

They use the box but I took the door off. They don’t seem to like doors and I want my cats to use all the boxes.

Just what I wanted!

This litter box is exactly what I was looking for. Size extra large is perfect for my 13 lb cat. Quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product!!
