Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off. Not recommended for chew sessions.

These are great for the pool because they do float. Recommend you not leave your dog unsupervised with the ball. My dog is not a heavy chewers but managed to destroy and consume the entire ball in1/2 inch pieces in just a few minutes. The other 3 balls we had were compromised and discarded.
It took only about 10 minutes for our dog to tear off big chunks of this toy. We will see in the summer if it still floats. Also, BTW it does squeak.
My pups love these balls. They fit perfectly in their mouths and they float! Although it's hard to see in the ocean, we will continue to purchase because compared to other floating balls these don't have the tiny hole that gather water and mold. These stay fresh and clean!
I've been searching for the ball that can work my German shepherd's teeth and jaw but this ball is too hard. He was interested in this ball for all of 5 seconds and hasn't returned to it since. We were looking for a ball that had some "give" so he can chew on it but not fall apart in a week. This ball is not "chewable."
Unfortunately, it doesn't last. I know I have a heavy chewer, but this was gone in a heartbeat. Great for a pool with dogs that won't chew it.
This is a good toy. It is a little smaller than I would like, but we have large dogs. Great that it floats and it is holding up under lots of "dog pressure".
Bought for my pup. Walked away to assist my toddler and came back to it destroyed already. Less than 5 minutes after it arriving.
This ball is awesome!! I have a German Shepard mix who LOVES to play fetch!! They are super nice and seem very sturdy and won’t mess up easy. I love them! And great for the price especially! :)
Finding a ball for my two young labs has been a challenge. They have different likes and dislikes and one is very destructive. I purchased 6 different balls and 5 different frisbees and gave them the Sid and Opal test. This is definitely the favorite with both dogs of all the balls. It has a firm texture, perfect size for their large (but not extra large) mouth, a good bounce with an interesting landing trajectory, great splash due to it’s weight and doesn’t seem to be fun to chew up (yea!). In fact, they both bring me this every time to throw again and Sid is a frisbee guy! The only thing I would improve is the color. I prefer a contrasting color to the blue pool. Been using it daily for about a week. Hopefully it will last a long time. The second favorite is the Chuckit glow in the dark.
This ball started crumbling as soon as our 18 month old dog put it in his mouth! Usually it takes him a few minutes of real effort to get break pieces off of a toy, but this one didn't even make it outside for fetch :/ found pieces of it in his excrements too!
