It works!

The material is nice, fun, matches my colors of a fur throw on my bed, silver and white stairs... I took out the top stair foam.. two steps were high enough.. its a tad squishy that my dog doesn't use it much.. I have to coax her.. but my cats love it. And lay on the nice sized second, top stair. Um.. but I also bought a harder 2 stairs covered with creme fleece.. and it also looks very nice in the livingroom for the couch and my senior, little dog Does use it.. and is happy she can get up herself without having to ask me to lift her up. It has inner plastic sides and tops.. easy to put together and the cover fits perfectly.. But I will say that both have that slanted bottom step.. and it feels slippery and weird to the dogs. They just should be designed "level". That's the problem. And the harder ones feel more stable to a dog. Cats.. a different story.

Very disappointing.

My dog, who weighs about 21 lbs., hates these steps. The foam rubber sinks just enough under her paws that it freaks her out and she feels insecure. Also, the steps do not stay flush with my bed. There is a bit of a gap at the top, which also makes her uneasy. We are not using it at all, and it was not inexpensive! I did not retain the carton (because I thought the product would be a great success with my dog) and taking it to be packed and shipped by UPS or FedEx would just be too expensive. So I guess I'm going to eat the price and just not use the product. If you can help me with a free return, I would appreciate it!

Helpful stepping

Our fur baby sometimes has problems getting onto the bed. so we got these steps and it turned into a perfect match. now everyone is happy.

Great product

But my cat won't use them. She's an older cat with kidney disease and I ordered the steps to help her get up on my bed, since she loves to sleep on me. But her claws get caught in the material, so she won't use them.

Came with dirty and old looking foam Was all apart in box

This was shipped apart , you put it into the cover ! Guess they didn’t realize you would see the old discolored foam and stains from dirt ! Did not complain to chewy, because I have had a few problems they have had to take care of since getting my new puppies! So I had to just accept this bad quality!

Works for Hope

I ordered these steps because they were tall enough for our new purpose. Very easy to assemble. Our cat, Hope, took to them right away after a little trepidation because they are softer than the old steps, which were rigid. So they work for us. The only thing that bugs me a little is that the cover is loose enough that where she walks in the middle of each step it leaves a pucker in the fabric.

Cover a little weird

The cover was FURRY and loose making it slippery for my small dog. I had to use bungee cords to keep it in place.

Works Great! Just one thing

I bought these steps for my new sheltie who is too small to jump up on my bed. She weighs 20.6 pounds. The only issue is that the stairs are kind of light weight. My big dogs, 50 and 70 pounds sometimes use the steps to get off the bed. This causes the steps to gradually move away from the bed. So when I come into the bedroom, I just check to see if they need to be moved back next to the bed.

So cheap and it is long fur. White not silver. Hunting for the return option. Very frustrating.
