About Frisco Crates and Mats

Dens to Curl Up In

Dens to Curl Up In

Even the most playful pups need a spot where they can wind down and gather their energy for the next adventure. Frisco's created the perfect dens that are made to fit the tiniest pooches to the biggest member of the pack. Super comfy and built for safety, these crates give your pup a cozy lair to call his own.

Built for Safety

Keeping your pet safe is the most important feature of Frisco Crates. The sturdy wire panels have rounded corners and a durable black electro-coating. Each door locks securely with an L-shaped, slide-bolt safety latch. The larger models have two latches per door for the ultimate protection.

All the Comforts of Home

A dog's den should be his castle—a place where he can relax. Frisco Crates come with a plastic base pan to cover the wire floor and keep things clean. But you can also add a Frisco Crate Mat to make his den even more comfortable. This quilted fleece bed is made from soft Sherpa material with a foam cushion bottom and thick bolster to make your pet feel at home in his den.

Fold and Carry Design

It's easy to pack up into a compact, portable shape, so you can take the Fold & Carry Crate along with you when you're on the go with your dog. Plastic handle(s) are included for transporting every size. They can be positioned in any spot along the crate to give you a steady grip.

It Grows With Your Pet

Frisco Fold & Carry Crates not only come in every size, but they also grow with your pup as he gets older. The included divider panel can be inserted with minimal effort to create a smaller enclosure for puppies. You can move the panel to make the space inside larger until your pup reaches his adult size.

We love our crate! We bought the 48 inch for our golden retriever as she grew, we used the divider. She fits in it now at 6months and 40+ pounds with PLENTY of room to spare. Like-- she can take a step or two in each direction. She loves it. The only DOWNSIDE is that the black coating on the lever seemed to peel off fairly quickly, leaving the nasty looking metal out. Could have very well been something about the way we used it, but I doubt it. Very minor flaw, especially given the price of this crate for the size you get. And it is collapsible. All things considered, I still think it deserves 5 stars. Convenient, can be moved around to different set ups easily given the two doors, just great We love our crate! • So far it's pretty good

    By on

At first I thought I hated this crate because it seemed my 4 month old German Shepherd/Lab mix was finding her way out of it while we were gone. She even spent a bit of her freedom chewing up an expensive pair of boots. Naturally I was peeved but come to find out my husband wasn't checking both doors to see if they were locked and latched properly. Since discovering this she hasn't made any grand escapes. This kennel is also an excellent size for my soon to be large dog. She can stand and move around. Everything she needs is in there. Bed, food, water and toys. It's her little clubhouse and my pup loves to go in and relax. Highly recommend and check those latches before leaving!

  • Kimber loves her new home!

    By on

Bought this for my mom's dog. We got her at 6 weeks old and she fit just fine in a small crate but she's 4 months old now and already 30 lbs. She's a bully breed and expected to be 80 -90lbs so I was looking for a crate that she would still fit in comfortably at that weight. Was worried that the 42in would not give her room to grow but she has plenty of room and will be just fine in it at full size. Kimber loves her new home and takes advantage of the space to stretch out as well as store her pillows and toys. Its sturdy, huge and I got it at an awesome price! Exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

  • Great Crate

    By on

We needed a crate to stay at our son's house for our visits, something that would work to contain our Aussie if we left the house but that could also be stashed away conveniently when we left. This is perfect. I had been told by the groomer that I needed a 48 inch which was too big for me to manage or haul. This 42 inch is more than big enough for our 48 pound Australian Shepherd. She seems to like it - more open than the one we use at home. Sturdy and the handles make it easy to move when folded. Very easy to pop open and to close again.

  • Love It!!!

It's a lot bigger than I was thinking and I absolutely love it! I have two rottweilers, a four year old and a 9 week old. They both fit in this with room to spare. It was only supposed to house my older rottie but they love to be together so until she grows a little more they can be. The two doors are super convenient for putting it in different spaces and the lock on both top and bottom make it so my "houdini" dog can't get out. This is also bigger but less expensive than the one's sold in stores!

  • 48" for an underweight husky

    By on

I wanted the largest crate I could get, but opted for this size instead of the 54" due to the price difference and I am glad I picked this one. The price of the 54" version was double and was not offered in the fold and carry version. At this size, my dog has plenty of room to move around, and it was heavy for me to carry on my own. I cannot imagine a heavier or larger fold and carry crate. Unfolding the crate and setup went quickly. I have only had this crate for a day but I hope she will not be able to destroy it. For size reference, My husky mix is petite for her breed and averages less than 40lbs

  • Spacious Crate for 2 Pugs

    By on

I got this crate to help control indoor potty issues I was having with my female pug. Since I have a bonded pair who have slept together since they were babies, I needed a space big enough for them to sleep together comfortably. Because they don't always curl up together, I was happy to see that there was plenty of room for them to sleep independently and move around. I also love the 2 door options & removable tray. My dogs enjoy the space (and bed I bought for it) so much that they put themselves to bed!

  • Loveee ittt!

So I had a crate before but someone stole it lol. So I decided to buy a bigger crate since my puppy is going to be bigger in a few months. I ordered an XL and it's perfect! Getting it up the stairs was hard but I'm happy I ordered it. I saw many reviews on how it's hard to assemble because the doors or something would be all tangled but it was no problem for me. I can see this lasting me for a while.

  • Solid quality, fits 4Runner

    By on

This reasonably priced crate has been perfect for my Rottweiler. The side door is perfect because I put this in my 2013 4Runner. The crate Dimensions literally fit perfectly in the cargo area with no inches to spare. My dog is very calm and doesn't try to escape his crate so I'm not too concerned with how incredibly strong the wire is but it does seem quite strong. I have Midwest crates in the house and maybe the wire gauge is a smidge stronger on the Midwest versus this Frisco. But the functioning of the doors, the quality of the pan and the ease of use seems identical to Midwest. It was delivered quickly and arrived in great condition, my ten-year-old son and I were able to open it up and put This reasonably priced crate has been perfect for my Rottweiler. I do appreciate that it is lighter in weight so that we can take it out and use it inside Grandma's house or if we travel somewhere else. I love Midwest crates but they are very heavy so this one really does the job but is lighter and is less expensive. I'm very surprised at the quality of this I highly recommend it. … more

  • Well Built

    By on

I have purchased a couple crates at cheaper prices but they were flimsy and easy for my dog to destroy when left alone. I purchased this 48in crate, which was much cheaper than in a regular store. It is extremely sturdy and fits my 70lb pitbull perfectly. I had previously had him in a 42in crate but he had to stoop over a little so he wouldn't hit his head. He has plenty of room to stretch out now and stand completely up in the crate. You can't beat the price for this sturdy crate.
