Gives us peace
My husband and I never thought we'd use a crate. We would leave the home to grocery shop or to have dinner and our 6-month-old pup would destroy and drag anything small enough to fit out the doggy door into the back yard. Once home, 'we' would be upset and stressed out over the situation. The "we" I'm speaking of is Me and the Pup. She knew she was bad, and my things were destroyed. Crate came quickly and she took to it.. we make sure she goes potty first then we crate her and can spend time grocery shopping not having to worry what was being destroyed. Sometimes when we get home we open the door and she just hangs out in it. When not in use, It's in the main room with the door open but she does go in it once in a while just to nap.
Puppy gets out
I saw the create on chewy thought it was a great price well once I received it set it up only having it for a week or two my 8month out puppy can get out if it. The latches on the door doesn't hold. The door closed. More money out of my pocket since I had to go to another place a buy another create. So buyers beware.
Kennel is perfect
I really hate kennels but there are times when it’s absolutely necessary. My very energetic dog had surgery and needed to stay confined. With the pad that’s made for this kennel, she was very comfortable. And it’s so easy to set up.
I bought this as a spare and the difference in quality from the other one is jarring. The door came curved and the locks are too far in the middle, making it easy for a pup to push through the door on the top/bottom corner and get stuck. The wire on the crate is thin and easily bendable. This is probably only good for a dog that is already crate trained or tiny. I wouldn’t trust this to keep a dog safe. Luckily we bought this as a spare, as I mentioned before, and will only be used while supervised. I was hoping for better and am quite disappointed.
it was okay
The package arrived a day late. It is also smaller than I expected especially for a medium to large size dog. My pup will only be able toy use this for a few weeks before he grows out of it.
A great cage!
I got this cage as a travel kennel for my Mini Aussie and it is a great size. I also am a puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs and the pup I have now fits in nicely and he is a tall little dude already. He is a yellow lab 14 weeks and 26 pounds and he fits great in the kennel. This is a great midsized cage. Very well made and comes with a divider and it's 2 doors. It folds up nice and neat also. I highly recommend it.
Perfect for confining a sick chicken!
This crate is the perfect size for when you have to isolate a sick chicken! It's large enough for a bit of room, food dishes, and a perch. Having 2 doors is handy as well. It cleans up easily and folds away nicely when you aren't using it, it even has a carry handle to transport it while folded. We originally purchased this same crate for our medium dog (and she loves it!), so we decided to get another when our chicken needed to be separated from the flock and then later reintroduced. Great buy (both times) and will always recommend highly!
Puppy can get out
My puppy is 18 weeks and Is able to let herself out. Had to put a lock on it at night. The metal door handle is very short and can easily be open if dog is pushing at the door even a tiny 5lb shih Tzu
A cage is a cage
I bought this for my pup to use as he continues to grow. I use it so he can sleep on it but, a cage is a cage and he is still getting use to it. I am however, happy with the size. This is something I will definitely continue using.
no issues past 10 months!
Had for ten months, holds up well. Haven’t used the carrying handle, but the door and rest of the crate are great. Not sure why you’d need anything more expensive! :)
