I bought this as a spare and the difference in quality from the other one is jarring. The door came curved and the locks are too far in the middle, making it easy for a pup to push through the door on the top/bottom corner and get stuck. The wire on the crate is thin and easily bendable. This is probably only good for a dog that is already crate trained or tiny. I wouldn’t trust this to keep a dog safe. Luckily we bought this as a spare, as I mentioned before, and will only be used while supervised. I was hoping for better and am quite disappointed.
A great cage!
I got this cage as a travel kennel for my Mini Aussie and it is a great size. I also am a puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs and the pup I have now fits in nicely and he is a tall little dude already. He is a yellow lab 14 weeks and 26 pounds and he fits great in the kennel. This is a great midsized cage. Very well made and comes with a divider and it's 2 doors. It folds up nice and neat also. I highly recommend it.
Not for Long Term Use
The price was right, but since purchasing this for my dogs to sleep in at night, after 18 months 2 of my dogs were able to push out the wires around the door, and all 3 have rusted. My dogs love their crates, so they are still happy with them, but if I need to replace these every year or so, I should have paid more for a better gauge of wire.
This crate was so affordable! I wish I would have just started with this one when I got my puppy. Instead I wasted money on two he outgrew in the first month. It’s definitely heavy so if you live alone you may want someone to come over to help with it. Other than that it’s perfect! My cat even loves to sleep in it! LOL
Perfect for confining a sick chicken!
This crate is the perfect size for when you have to isolate a sick chicken! It's large enough for a bit of room, food dishes, and a perch. Having 2 doors is handy as well. It cleans up easily and folds away nicely when you aren't using it, it even has a carry handle to transport it while folded. We originally purchased this same crate for our medium dog (and she loves it!), so we decided to get another when our chicken needed to be separated from the flock and then later reintroduced. Great buy (both times) and will always recommend highly!
Good crate overall
This crate is good overall; putting it together was as easy as other crates I've had. Read the instructions on how to properly close the crate and just make sure you do it properly. Overall, I like this crate, but I will say the crate pan is slightly smaller than the crate itself. There's a small gap on all sides, maybe half an inch big. It's not a huge deal, but I might invest in a crate tray from another brand to fit. There are some parts of the wiring that are a little bit sharp near the door of the crate. The opening/door is smaller than some other crates. For the price, it's pretty good overall.
This crate is perfect for our Corgi. I like having the 2 locks. It seems to be made well. I gave it 4 stars because I would prefer a metal tray at the bottom instead of plastic. It seems quite durable though.
good but not tuff
this create is good for dogs who aren’t strong, literally not even a day my dog busted thru it, she’s a black lab mix we don’t really kennel her but she has to stay with family and they kennel, so she busted thru the kennel I’m not surprised tbh! But I think our main complaint is she’s a large dog it says med to large, she fits in that size range well its really tiny we don’t know if we received the wrong size but it is very tiny for her, but again great crate brand just not for my dog cause she so strong lol she’s now gotten used to it but we’ve had to zip tie and tape the create closed and used the divider since she busted the wiring on the front face! But if your dog is used to kenneling this create is awesome. If your dog is an escape artist I would look else where something thinking. Pics for how she busted it lol pretty funny really
Perfect for golden retriever puppy
Our golden is growing fast and we needed something that could be moved around, but he could also grow into for the next year. Crate is sturdy and is able to fit through doors in our house. Only set back is the tray slides out pretty easily im the front so when you carry it, your shins will feel like your getting hit with a razer scooter.
Great for Felix the Cat
This crate is excellent for my cat. I don’t let him run loose, so he has his crate to go outside for fresh air and to watch squirrel and birds.
