So what happens when pet uses the potty? Where does it go? Will he then be lying in it?
Answer by • Nov 02, 2022
Frisco crates are designed to provide a safe, comfortable space for your pet. Usually, dogs won't do their business in the same area where they sleep, but if the crate is too large, they may choose to go potty in one end and sleep in the other. To avoid this, use the divider panel to shorten the length of the cage so it's the right size for your pet.
How to measure for correct size
Answer by • Dec 28, 2019
To select the best size for your dog we recommend that you measure the length of your dog from nose to tail. When measuring the length, be sure to add approximately 2-4 inches to the overall length, depending on the size of your dog. To determine the height of the crate you will need, measure your dog from the top of the head to the ground. If your dog has naturally erect ears, measure from the tip of the ears. To obtain the width of your crate, add approximately 2 inches for smaller breeds and 4 inches for larger breeds.

TL;DR Extra piece for room might get wedged and prevent assembly. Will need a saw with metal cutting blade. Total nightmare.
I knew the box would be heavy, and also big. However, the box was about 5 ft long and if you live alone it is incredibly awkward to get into your house. Once you do get it into your house, it would probably be best to have an empty room that is 24 ft by 24 ft with stadium lighting and is totally empty in order to deal with the nightmare you might end up with. This isn't really a complaint, the box though was very difficult to open and it was not clear what end was up or down. I had to basically cut off the box in multiple pieces. Once I got the box removed, which required a lot of space. I then actually looked at the directions. The first thing you are supposed to do is unlock these clips, which if you do not have stadium lighting are incredibly hard to find. Once I found them they opened very easily.
This is where I started to contemplate whether I wanted to live or not. The instructions say to pull the crate upwards and it'll basically form itself. I couldn't pull the crate upwards. I could not even pull it upwards an inch. This was another instance where stadium lighting would have been really handy. It took me about 30 minutes and that is no exaggeration to figure out why it wouldn't pull open. The extra piece to form a room had become lodged sideways and hooked over the top part of the crate. There was no easy way to unhook it at all. I did not have a pair of pliers to try to bend the pieces that were hooked over so I then had to go to a neighbor's house. They kindly came over to help me with their pliers, but after about 20 minutes we were discussing putting the thing in the trash because he could not bend the pieces even though he's a strong guy. So I guess in a way that's a good point that it is strong material. He went and got another person and he came over with a saw that had a metal cutting blade and he had to cut those hooks from that extra piece to form a room off. Once that extra piece was no longer connected the crate popped open just fine. And that was almost 2 hours after I had started. Once it was popped open it went together very quickly.
Maybe Chewy should sell it without that extra piece to make a little room, because you could end up in a nightmare scenario like I was. I saw absolutely no reason to call chewy over this because what were they going to say to me? They were sorry I was having difficulty? It would have been pointless. I also did not realize how high the crate would be and yes I saw it said 36 in but when you see that in person it is incredibly tall. I like the length of it and that's the only thing I can say about it that's good. Other than that I totally regret buying this and if it would not have been such a nightmare to try and find a box, since I had to cut it out of the box to get it out, I would have returned it to chewy.

Very Good Dog Crate
This dog crate was more than I expect. The wires are not thin like other dog crates that I have purchased in the past. It is durable. Even though one corner of the tray was broken off a little bit, I still rated this as 5 stars. Good product for the price. I purchased this for my Treeing Walking Coonhound puppy and he has plenty of room as he grows.

Great for our Needs
We set this up to house feral cats before sending them to the vet for spaying & neutering. Simple and fast and appears to be sturdy. Right now there are 2 cats, a litter box & food inside. All good! Looks to be a good size for a medium dog to relax in comfort.

Perfect Size
I adopted a little (18-20#) 3 yr old guy that just wasn't able to go any length of time without going to the bathroom..I used potty pads but being a male dog he was hitting the walls more than the pads..This crate is perfect..He has no problem going in (with a couple treats) No fussing when I leave, no accidents while I'm gone and nothing but happiness when I return..I'm a firm believer in crating when necessary..The crate is very well made, easy to put together and gets a 5 Star from me..

Small Dog crate
Small dog crate for new puppy. Doesn't close very easily and it isn't squared or lined up. It was difficult to put together and it should've been. A normal 2-3 minute job took 20 minutes trying to line it up to fit together. At least I know it won't collapse.

Unreliable material
My dog is not a trasher but the levers used to closed are un even and they don't lock securely in place. I uses it for when I have to go to take out trash or something really short. But I was really not impressed with the quality.

Perfect for our mini schnauzers
I bought the 30 inch crates for our mini schnauzers knowing they would be a little bigger than what I needed. They offer plenty of space for our dogs to stretch out and stay safe while we are away from home. They're even big enough for two of them to snuggle up (sometimes our Lucy and Remi want to bunk together). Well made, easy to put together. Only wish they had a single latch instead of two.

Wonderful Crate
This is a light but strong crate, easy to assemble. I am buyng second one so I don't have to transport DAILY the crate, the puppy can walk, I just need the crate to contain the puppy at work and at home after she's played out. Not for daily moving in my opinon as I have carried it in and out of work and home for two weeks. So I'm buying a second one with a floor bed cushion.

Very hard to unclasp the Doggie slide locks
Decent size but not too sturdy & the little slide over bars that lock the bottom and top are a nightmare to get open&closed... Definitely would of/should of paid for a different type of cage.
