These foldable stairs are fantastic. They are sturdy, attractive, and easy to clean. We have a cat that is having a hard time jumping up into a pop-out window. He took to these immediately. We love them so much we're considering buying another set so that he can get up onto the bed easier. The only negative that we could see would be the size of the animal... I wouldn't let a German Shepherd climb on these steps. But absolutely perfect for small dogs and cats... 100% worth the money!
Workers wonderful for my cats, recently got a bit higher bed frame then expected and my two cats aren’t the best jumpers around, and one of them is getting up there in age (6ish). Didn’t want the high jumping take it’s toll on my kitties joints and got these to help them step up to the bed. Took them about 2 weeks to really learn the new stairs are for them, but now the LOVE it. It’s become part of the “zoomie” race track during play. Sure this will become very helpful when my oldest starts to slow down more.
The old mancat is getting on in years, the jump to the bed or couch has become an undignified scramble. This is tall enough to reach both with an acceptable pitch and wide enough for fatty cats. Sturdy enough to move without it falling apart, and light enough to move easily. My only complaint is the carpet strips on the treads, they stick on. I’ll replace them with velcro eventually.
I purchased the stairs because my Cairn terrier keeps pulling muscles by jumping off the beds. He walks up the stairs readily, but I have to coax him down with a treat. (He'll do anything for a treat!) I wish the stairs were a little deeper so they wouldn't look so scary to him. That being said, I really like the fact that it is foldable because my room is very small.
My senior chi can't jump on the bed or couch anymore so I got stairs for him. He sometimes struggles down the stairs (slips or stumbles on the last step) but going up is much easier for him. The product was very easy to set up and it comes with fabric grip landings (a bit hard to clean). If I have to buy another I will opt for a ramp instead of stairs and recc ramp for dogs with joint issues or older dogs. Will try to find stronger grips on the stairs meanwhile to see if that helps.
Our 18 year old blind cat felt her way on the stairs with just a bit of guidance, and now she's almost a pro!! Didn't think she'd take to them really, what a fantastic surprise for all of us. Sometimes she just stands on them, deciding if she going up or down. Or maybe she's the captain of her own ship, who can tell...Yay!!! So grateful they worked out. Used them sideways against the bed so they don't stick too far out.
Due to an foreseen situation I had to replace the Frisco steps that my dog had . Because I knew that he loved the steps and the steps were of high quality I reordered the steps .They arrived a couple of days later . Gizmo is a longhaired dachshund so the steps are perfect for him.
Already had folding steps but it was old and held together on one side. It had 3 steps. These steps had 4 so I was a bit concerned that my cat would not take to it. He sure did. It was tall enough for him to reach his bed without jumping. Then to my surprise another of my cats started using the steps! I like them. The steps are sturdy and fit my cats.
These steps are a little too steep for my standard size dachshund (roughly 25 lbs). Great concept and nice product, but the short width of the steps and their overall slope scares my low rider.
Love that they are narrow since we don’t have much room in the Motorhome next to the bed. My sweeties like the sturdiness and they weren’t afraid to use it.
