Frisco Gravity Refill Pet Waterer, Medium

This was a good price and it keeps our choc Lab with the amount of water he needs. The difficulty is lifting the large jug, flipping it over to aim exactly on the bowl holder. It would be great to have a handle on top of the jug as I don't have the strength in my hands to hopefully not slip when holding the sides to place it on the bowl. And to hope I dried it well enough to not slip out of my hands. But enjoy not having to fill a water bowl 3xs a day. This lets me fill every 4 days for our Choc Lab and sometimes dog visitors.

My cat loves this! I want to make sure she always has fresh water and she drinks from it daily. Easy to clean with a little soap and hot water, then shake and rinse. It doesn't leak.. Thank you Chewy!

I have 2 large dogs and this definitely has saved me from constantly refilling bowls. Also, less spillage on the floor which is a bonus. I’ve had to buy this twice because the seam on the filler cap broke. It seemed silly that I would have to buy the entire waterer again so I wanted to share- if you google “Replacement Cap for Large Gravity Waterers”, you can cheaply replace the cap for the large (don’t know about the other sizes).

I guess this waterer is okay, but I don't like the design of the part that allows the water to be dispensed into the bowl. I prefer the old waterers from the 70's/80's. Maybe the plastic wasn't as "healthy" and maybe some people spilled water turning the reservoir over, but more water was dispensed into the bowl with the old-fashioned kind.

I bought this thing about a year ago and it didnt even last 2 months. Somehow the cap broke and water was leaking everywhere. Replaced with a different brand water dispenser and haven't had an issue with the new one.

I would have rated it 5 stars in the beginning but now I realize how hard it is to clean. The tank always gets a green tint after a day and I am constantly soaking it. It would have a 5 Star rating from me if the cap was bigger so I could get my hand in there for a better cleaning.

and the opening is small. Since the you can not stick your hand in the hole to clean this, I have taking away 2 stars. Mine got very green, very fast, and my hands are small. I had resorted to putting a wash cloth in there and shaking it to clean the inside. There might be a brush tool out there that will clean all the nooks and crannies, but I haven't been able to find it yet

I bought both the medium & large one. The plastic the tanks are made from is kind of thin. You don't notice it on the medium, but you do on the large one. Also, the large one is almost too heavy to handle when full, I just fill it about half full. These are good for the price, but there are better ones out there if you don't mind paying more.

I purchased three of these water bowls for a cat rescue that I volunteer with. They are lightweight and very easy to refill and clean. I will definitely replace our large water bowls , which are bulky and hard to fill, with these smaller water bowls.
