Gets the job done, but could use improvement
By Tina on Apr 21, 2022
The crate is a perfectly cromulent dog crate. Nothing special, but it does what it is supposed to. Mine was a real hassle to setup though. First, the instructions were INSIDE the crate where I couldn't access them until I had already completed most of the steps. Fortunately, I was able to find a video on YouTube. It would have been fairly easy to set up, except something inside the crate was hooked to something else that it wasn't supposed to be and it took a lot of effort to get it unhooked. The pen was easy to setup. It is a good height for large dogs, though I think a full-grown dog could probably knock it over. It contains my 5-month-old lab puppy well enough. I would not leave a dog in this pen unsupervised. There are too many gaps where toes could get pinched plus the risk of the whole thing getting knocked over. It works for what I wanted it for, which was a place to keep my puppy from roaming and getting into trouble while I am working or doing other things where I can keep an eye on her. I purchased a second pen and hooked it to this one to make a large play area. One pen by itself isn't much space. … more

Not a good solution for dogs that can climb
By Indigo on Apr 22, 2022
This looked like the perfect solution to create a play area in my office for my new puppy. I needed a place to put him when I was showering, cleaning, etc. It worked for 2 weeks until he figured out he could use the cross bars to climb up and then jump out. I've since researched and found this is a common problem for people with these kinds of pens and people do all kinds of crazy things (e.g., try to add a roof, zip tie mats around the top of the pen) to keep their dog in. I decided to just buy a more expensive play pen made for human children that only has vertical bars so my guy can't climb the wall. Working much better so far. I'd recommend just spend the money and get one without horizontal This looked like the perfect solution to create a play area in my office for my new puppy. Sturdy and works
By Deli on Jan 31, 2022
I bought one of these from a different brand and it was flimsy, hard to open the doors, and didn't line up the way I needed it to. This one is the complete opposite. The door opens and closes like a dream, the bottom doesn't slide on my concrete floors, and it came with four snap clips so I could attach it to the crate to give my puppy a den and keep her contained so I don't have to worry about her getting into trouble when I'm not there to constantly monitor her.

great for my new puppy
By Denise on Feb 9, 2022
got a 10 wk old goldendoodle and working from home. love the 2 doors and size of crate is adjustable as he grows. the exercise pen gives him enough room to play and also a potty pad(which he uses :). price is great. pretty easy to set up, it is a bit heavy getting out of the boxes. keeps him safe and out of trouble when I'm not available.

Great value
By Mptr on Jan 31, 2022
Exactly what we needed for our new puppy! The playpen was easy to install and works just fine for what we needed, not the sturdiest but that’s what you have a kennel for, I wouldn’t leave a puppy that can put front paws up on the top in the playpen without supervision.

Good training crate
By PSUKimo on Nov 22, 2021
First of all, I’ll review Chewy. The are beyond excellent. Ordering and delivery is fast and easy. Now, I’ll review the product which is a combo 36” heavy duty, two door folding wire crate along with a folding outdoor play pen. The crate is fine and as described. I’m not so sure about the “heavy duty” part though. It is certainly adequate though. The play pen is very small and kind of flimsy. I think it will serve the intended purpose (keeping our new puppy from running off while potty training her).

Frisco Heavy Duty Collapsible Dog Crate + Wire Exercise Pen
By Jack on Jul 13, 2021
This purchase was for a 42" dog crate and exercise pen. Both items are very good and the price for the combo was an exceptional deal. We are picking up our new puppy in early August and after receiving the shipment we determined that for a puppy it's too big but will keep it as the dog will need it once it grows up. In the meantime we subsequently bought the same crate but in a 30" size which will be perfect for the coming months. The Frisco crates look to be a good products and we're quite happy with them.
