Great dish
By Tara on Feb 17, 2021
I read the reviews and I was ready to fight tooth and nail to get this sticker off but ya know what the people complaining don't know what's going on it peeled right off one piece as for the smell yeah it smells wash it and it's fine like you should wash it anyway. I have cats so I don't think they're gonna be moving it around like a hungry dog might so can't quite testify to the rubber bits helping but great flat bowl for cats

I love this bowl!
By FurbabyMamaOf4 on Feb 6, 2021
I love this food bowl for my kitten. I'll be ordering 2 more for my adult cats, because the shape and height of the bowl is awesome. It's wide enough that plenty of food will fit in the bowl but the sides are low enough that it doesn't get in my cat's whiskers way so they can stay comfy and happy while they're eating! And the non- skid bottom is a must have for my house. One of my cats, a male that was half starved when I rescued him, gets so excited when he's eating, he ends up scooting his bowl around, but not with this bowl. I love it!

Disappointed
By Jackie on Feb 5, 2021
I had high hopes for these bowls. I needed a non skid bowl for my cats wet food. The design and size is great but the rubber smell and chemical smell is absolutely HORRIBLE. I tried soaking in everything possible, vinegar, dish soap, baking soda, etc. My cats will not eat out of these due to the smell and quite frankly, I'm afraid it will leak into their food and harm them. I don't know if some chemical was used to adhere the rubber bottoms to the bowl, but it's bad.

100 percent right
By Cher on Feb 24, 2021
This bowl is perfect for feeding a cat one can a day of wet food. I split it in half and he gets half in the morning and half at night. The bowl stays shiny and brand new looking after every use. It’s the perfect size for half a can of friskies and mouse sized amount of crunches for afternoon snack.

Too many possible problems
By dwhite46 on Jan 10, 2021
I had read the reviews and was a little concerned that some people said after washing these bowls there was a smell. There was a deal on the bowl so I thought I’d try it anyway. I read more reviews and saw it was dishwasher safe so immediately threw it in when I unpacked it. When I removed it from the washer I noticed there was a metal piece hanging out from the rim. That was definitely not there when I placed it in the washer; I’d had a hard time removing the Frisco sticker so I had my hands on these bowls quite a bit beforehand. This was surprising to find, and I hope just a one-time fluke.

Product Sticker
By StickerShock on Jan 31, 2021
I never used the bowl(s) ( I bought two) because I could not get the sticker that covered the entire base of the inside of the bowl off. I soaked the bowls for several days, used Goo Gone, scraped with a knife and still I couldn't get it all off. I was so frustrated at the end that I just threw both bowls in the garbage. It's too bad because the bowls looked quite nice and had a good non-skid feature.

Rubber has strong smell
By Juju on Feb 11, 2021
I ordered two of these dishes because I liked the shape and size. Low sides keep the cats from rubbing their whiskers (which irritates them). But the rubber on the bottom of these food dishes smells very strongly like new tires! This might not bother some people, but it makes me nauseated. The actual size of the dish is good, though.

No one will eat out of these
By Kitty on Jan 24, 2021
I ordered 4 of these dishes, 1 red, 1 gray, and 2 blue. They have a bad odor, kind of like burnt rubber. I washed them well hoping to remove the smell but it did not help, I have put them outside hoping it would go away but so far they still smell. I know my cats will not eat anything out of them. For some reason the red one smells worse then the other colors but they are all bad. They made me give it a star to submit but really I wouldn't give it any stars.

Extremely bad smell
By Catmomma on Jan 26, 2021
After washing these bowls, there was a highly unpleasant rubber smell, what reminded me of a car tire. It came from the nonskid bottom. Reading other reviews, this seems to be an issue with this bowl. This is a shame, because the design and size of the bowl are perfect otherwise. I will not be using these for my cats and the bowls went into the garbage. Chewy provided great customer service when I called about this.

Very sticky label
By Sticky on Jan 24, 2021
There is nothing wrong with the bowl. The problem is the label in the dish. It was next to impossible to remove. I tried soaking the bowl in water, rubbing alcohol, goof off, finger nail polish remover...the label remained stuck. I had to scrape it with a knife to remove it, still leaving residue. Finally I tried boiling water. Most of the sticky residue came off but there were scratches in the bottom of the bowl. While I'm sure the cats won't mind the scratches, it was disappointing to have something new that was damaged because of a label that was nearly impossible to remove.
