Good concept execution not great
I wanted a dish that my dog wouldn’t knock over as she is goofy and likes to knock her food dish and make a mess. So this looked like exactly what I wanted. I like that it was silicone and washable and the dishes came out. I also like the silicone has a metal piece built inside so when you carry it it doesn’t fold on you and spill. Problem is like others have mentioned, a slobbery dog spills when they drink and a ton of water gets under and it’s gross. Mix that with spilled dog food and you get a nasty mess. Also, sometimes water gets under the dish. Lastly, our dog for some reason drinks water reluctantly out of this dish and it’s already warped on the bottom. Thankfully it sits inside the silicone but I can’t see it lasting. Too bad - a few fixes and it would be a great idea.
Great food bowls
Bought these when I got my second cat a few months ago and love them so much more than the bowls I had for my first cat so I bought another! They are wider so better for my kittie's whiskers and it comes with a fitted mat that helps trap debris. Much better than my smaller bowls and separate mat. And the price is right.
Not sturdy enough
This is what is left of ours that has left with our 24 pound, 3 month puppy. I did not expect he would be able to chew this up if siliconed to the floor. I Would expect the silicone to be thicker and more sturdy.
Quality and easy
Exactly what I wanted for my new puppy. Catches water and food which does not end up on floor.
Not big enough
Good quality but... I have a Lab/golden mix and I needed a set of bowls that I didn't have to fill the water bowl up every hour & something large enough for food for 2 days and water for 2 days. These are not that. My dog drank the whole bowl of water in one sitting. guess I'll keep using my mismatched plastic ice cream bucket and plastic popcorn holder.
Nice look, but bowls are very thin
This diner set has a nice, sleek look and the silicon pad keeps everything in place. However, the bowls themselves are very thin and tinny. I feel like I’m going to bend them while cleaning them with a sponge. Mixed feelings about this purchase.
Great product
heavy duty, good value, dogs seem to enjoy them and like the bowls sticking to the wooden floors and not sliding around
Not great for kittens
The placemat part of the silicone doesn’t stick out enough and when the water spills it end up underneath instead of being caught in the lip. Probably works well for animals that dont need a placemat to protect the floor lol
Good idea poorly designed
If they made the silicone mat 10% bigger, that would probably double the product's effectiveness in stopping splashing from the water bowl hitting the floor. As it is, much of my dog's slurping still splashes all over the place. This is a good idea ruined by the manufacturer's cheapness.
