Perfect for eager puppies
By Angel on Apr 17, 2021
My puppies absolutely enjoyed playing around and trying to pull the chickens out. They were invested in learning, problem is, the fabric that makes up the beak and fleshy red bits of the chicken. Puppies really enjoy chewing on that loose fabric, I'd suggest cutting those off or they could be swallowed.

Fun but short game
By Mary on Mar 22, 2021
I bought the dragons in a castle version of this toy so I already knew my dog liked to pull the little toys out of the bigger one. He has, unfortunately, gotten very good at this game (and he has a log skinny nose so it's pretty easy for him) so it really only holds his attention for a minute or two, but he has a blast for that time and it's very funny to watch so it is worth it to me.

Don't waste your money
By Pepper on Feb 24, 2021
This toy offered absolutely NO challenge for my Pepper. First of all, the little chicks that roost inside can fall out of the windows without any effort on pup's part. The chicks, although cute as can be, are easily destroyed if your dog is any kind of chewer at all. The house is made of soft velour-type fabric, and probably has a good mouth feel since she carried the house from room to room for awhile before becoming bored and ignoring it. I have now added a small 8 lb puppy to my household and I will see if he will play with it. If not, it'll go into that proverbial File Thirteen.

Pretty cute
By Theo on Mar 14, 2021
My dog isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and will never take the chickens out of the henhouse, but if they are perched in the doors she will take them out and likes tossing them around. She likes finding a big biscuit in the henhouse, too. A very curious dog would probably be entertained by this toy.

Chick chicks!
By Beka on Feb 17, 2021
This toy is adorable! We actually have urban chickens so we decided our little Parti Yorkie, Liza, should have some faux fluffy butts of her very own. HA! She’s not allowed to play with the real chickens although they’re bigger than her. :) She loves her chick chicks and loves playing fetch with them! She weighs about 3.5 lbs and the size of the chickens is perfect for her.

The Best Christmas Present Ever!
By Pipsmom on Feb 12, 2021
Captn Pip received this for Christmas this year and ignored all of his other toys for days. He loves to find the chickens in the coop and pull them out. He then has to go hide them everywhere. Then he goes back and finds them and makes them squeak. This can go on for hours. He also likes to snuggle the chickens and I often find him asleep with them. What a great toy.

Entertainment for Pup
By Frog on Mar 9, 2021
I honestly didn’t think my puppy was going to understand how to use this toy, but after a few minutes of showing her how to pull the chicks out, she was crazy for it! It’s been about a month since I bought this and she still loves it

Do not buy if your dog chews anything
By JFC0000 on Apr 9, 2021
My puppy chewed up the hen house quickly. The chicks are still in tack and she loved them, but the house was flimsy and quickly chewed up.

Hours of fun
By JoeHobo on Feb 7, 2021
Our puppy loves this toy. It's one of the few toys that she is perfectly happy to play with on her own, without us having to animate a toy. And if she gets a bit bored with the chickens, we just put other chew toys in it, and even some treats.
