Where are the Frisco Indoor Traction Dog Foot Pads made?
Frisco Indoor Traction Dog Foot Pads are made in China and designed and tested to meet our high-quality standards.
What is the purpose of traction foot pads?
Traction foot pads help prevent pets from slipping while indoors on hard smooth surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate floors. Pads should not be used on carpeted floors, as they will come off much easier.
What is the best way to measure for foot pads?
Measure your dog's front paw to ensure a comfortable fit. If the paw is between two sizes, select the larger size. Place your pet's paw on a piece of paper. Mark the top of the digital pads to the bottom of the metacarpal pad, and mark from side to side at the widest point of the pet's digital pads. Measure the distance between the marks and compare to the size chart. For the complete size chart, you may view the photo below or click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.
How do I apply the foot pads?
- Trim the fur around your dog's paws, then clean them with water and wipe dry to ensure they're free of debris.
- Measure the foot pad against the paw. To ensure the best fit, make sure the pad doesn't overlap the surface of the paw. Pads can be trimmed if necessary.
- Peel away the backing from the foot pad and apply the sticky side directly to your dog's paw. Gently apply pressure for 30 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.
- To remove the pad, soak your dog's paws in water and gently peel off the pad.
Are these pads single use?
Pads are designed to be disposable and will need periodic replacement every 2 - 3 days. Usage life will vary.
What surfaces are suitable to use these foot pads on?
For best results, use on hard smooth surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate floors. Pads should not be used on carpeted floors, as they will come off much easier.
