Size down for in-between sizes
This is my first order and I am so happy with Chewy's customer service. I measured my beagle and corgi mix based on the size chart. They were both in between a L and XL. I ordered an XL to be on the safe side and when it came, it was too big. I got my replacement thanks to Chewy's excellent customer service. It fits better.
Great Fleece, runs insanely BIG
My dog is sometimes between sizes but I tend to go larger when in doubt...in this case, it was the wrong choice. She is 55lbs and is a bit stocky with a 31" chest so I got the XXL (31" Chest/45-60lbs). It's REALLY big on her. I may just get the XL and donate this one if it doesn't shrink in the wash. So, fair warning, most Frisco outerwear is spot on but the sherpa/fleece runs a bit large.
Indoor Use Only
We enjoy this vest, it adds a nice layer of warmth for our little guy if we're going for a walk in the city or running errands. I don't recommend this for outdoor use at parks or hikes since every little leaf or plant matter gets stuck in the fleece on the bottom of the chest (facing the ground). Perhaps a design upgrade could be switching the fabric on the bottom of the chest to something other than fleece?
Super Cute & Warm
We ordered these jackets for our two pups and they came way too big (definitely get a size smaller then you would think). I notified chewy, not only did they say say keep the jackets and donate them to a shelter or pups in need, they sent the new ones we ordered the next day! The pups love them and they're extra warm and cozy.
Awesome Jacket
Love the jacket but it took 3 tries to get it right. Runs large. I followed the measurement guide and got the XXXL, way too big. Then went with the XL. Fit bit just a tiny bit snug. Had to get the XXL.
Sherpa Vest
Very nice well made and lined Sherpa vest. Runs VERY large though, ordered xs for my 5lb yorkies and they are very big so I have to have another fleece jacket under to make them fit better. Hope they make them in xxs next year. Took off a star for sizing issue.
Loved this, warm but it too heavy
These are adorable. And I got them on sale! There were enough sizes so I could get 2 matching for my two dogs. These look terrific even after putting them in the washer and dryer.
Soft and fuzzy
This fabric is so soft and cozy. It runs a bit big since it is not adjustable but we made it work. The zipper is a bit awkward with a halter but you can feel how warm it is inside the coat. Very warm! My dog loves it!
Warm and Soft
I have spent quite a bit of time looking for a “coat” for my 5lb Pom. He doesn’t like pull-over sweaters because they are like putting him in a neck brace, always too much fabric around his little neck. He is tiny so hurting him while putting a coat on is a real concern. Last year I gave up a just carried him in my coat. Finally, I found this great little jacket! It has a Velcro closure under his chest so no more squishing him thru a tiny neck hole. He loves how soft and warm the coat is. The neck has just the right amount of material so he can move his head in a full range of motion. Perfect jacket. FINALLY!
Very warm! Runs large & no stretch.
This is very nice and warm for my old doggo. It runs a bit large but has no stretch so best to order in your usual Frisco size, otherwise it's hard to get on and off even with the velcro running down the belly area.
