I just introduced this to my kitten today. He has a cone collar on right now so I didn't really expect him to play with it. He couldn't look down very well to see the balls. Right away he stood on top of it. One other thing I noticed is that I don't think he knows very well how to scratch things, but I'm sure as he grows he will learn that. I also plan to "show" him how to scratch by guiding his paws on a surface. After I gave him the toy, I left the room and was checking on him on the pet cam. I'll attach some photos (in night vision). I don't think he can see the balls, but is feeling and hearing them. He's been at it for a while now! He liked to circle around it and sometimes step on it, and then stick a paw into a hole. I think this toy is pretty good so far!
I got this interactive maze cardboard cat toy for my four cats and they love it. The Maze arrived with a ball inside and an extra packet of catnip just to get my cats interested. I think even without the catnip they would have been thrilled about the cardboard. They love to claw at the ball inside the maze and it sharpen their claws on the cardboard. It keeps my cats active and engaged and away from my furniture!
I got this a couple days ago, and oh my God the cats love it. As soon as I opened it and put it on the floor they was all over it. I hear balls rolling and scratching all day and night long. This is pure entertainment for our kitties. The balls they love and scratching the scratch pad of this pizza. The catnip gives it a extra bonus. If your looking to keep your kitties entertained definitely try one of these toys for them, that absolutely love it.
Okay, when I opened the Frisco interactive maze and scratch cardboard toy with catnip I knew that the the balls inside of the maze we're going to be a little difficult for my cat to be interested in. However, I did sprinkle some catnip on the scratching board and he has scratched it every day but when I tried to put the catnip in the little maze area it was like he was interested in that at all. Maybe my other cat will play with the little balls in the maze. The other cat is a outside cat mostly but I'll let her in and see if she tries to play with the balls but in my honest opinion I don't think she's going to. Both of the cats really like the scratch board. It was well made because it isn't torn shreds with how hard he is scratching that scratch board and how hard she scratches the scratch board. Overall, I really like it I think it's a great idea for cats who are more interested in little maze toys mine just wasn't one of them, and he was more interested in the scratcher even without the catnip he and she was interested in the scratcher.
My cat seems to have a lot of fun playing with this cardboard maze and scratch. I love that it looks like a pizza. The balls move through the max e as he sticks his paw in to base it around. At first, he wasn’t sure about it but after I shook it a little and made the balls move, he dipped right in and started playing. He uses the scratching portion which is nice cause it’s helping keep him from using my couch! I didn’t use the catnip, as he had plenty of fun playing without it, but it’s a nice touch should we want to use it. Overall, he is happy and it gives him something to play with.
I absolutely love the cute pizza design of this toy, I've got two cats, and one of them loves to play with balls, lol. This cat loves to randomly start using this toy to make as much noise as possible, but it doesn't really work great as a scratch pad because he can't get all the way on it. This causes it to slide around while his hind legs are on the floor and he scratches with his front paws. I think it's cute as a toy but it's definitely not meant to be a main scratch pad.
This guy of mine loves his new toy! As soon as he got it he was in love. He love the little balls with the bells. These keep him bus for hour. He loves to scratch on it all the time. One thing is that I wish it would come with rubber feet so that it doesn’t slide so much. Other than that it’s a fun toy.
My cats love this. As soon as I put it on the floor they were all over it. My cat that doesn't really play even plays with it. It is sitting next to their food so they will scratch it and then sit on it to eat. They are always trying to get the balls out of the holes. So glad I got this and it cute that it looks like a pizza.
This is so cute. But even with the catnip and the balls, all my cats care about is the scratching bit. They smack the balls around sometimes, but for the most part, they either lay on it or scratch it. But I do like the design and it's not really in the way either.
My cats really did not care for it. The cat nip did not catch their attention. They did not even use the scratching part and they normally LOVE stuff like that. I did take the bells out of the holes and they did like and play with those.
