These are so easy to put on! My boys love to wiggle when I'm trying to dress them, so having something fast is so nice. These just slip their legs in then Zip right up the back. The zipper is a nice heavy duty plastic, so no worry of catching their fur or it popping off track. Tank(65lbs) & Spankie(70lbs) absolutely love them! And they look so nice. No shifting like with a sweater.
The best thing is that it zips down the back, making it easier to put on. Our dogwalker had our dog sit down and put his arms in both openings, then zipped it up. I thought the fit could be better. Our dog's back of his neck always gets all wet because the fit is loose. We were advised online to get the biggest size bc of his chest measurement. An odd thing is that the upper quilted fabric resists water, but the water runs down to the fabric on his belly. It's all wet.
This turned out a bit big for the intended dog and, while the zipper closure is handy, there's little ability for adjustment. My "modification tucks" were a bit overdone, so now the item belongs to one of the smaller dogs. Still too much room at the neck, but useable.
This is the best jacket that I have found for my Maltese. It helps keep him warm, but is flexible and does not restrict his movement. The back zipper makes it very easy to put on. Also, we use a few different front clip harnesses. This is the only jacket to not cover up the front clip. It is also very cute, we have gotten a lot of compliments on walks. I highly recommend!
Nice coat. A little bit difficult to put on since you have to put the front feet through holes, but it gets easier in time. A great price! We try to shop local, but when the price is so much higher, as a middle-class consumer, we must save $$$ as much as possible.
Needed a winter jacket for our newly arrived rescue boxer from Texas. The XL fit this 45 lb girl with 27 " chest perfectly. Id recommend it for temps above 20, though, on a short haired dog, as it is not heavy enough for extended hikes in 10 to 15 degrees. However, it is perfect for the temps right now in Northern New Hampshire. In colder temp, you could put a sweater under it. That would be good for bitter cold.
I live in Norther Nevada at a higher than average elevation so when it snows here I get twice as much as those at valley floor do. I have 2 pities who love running around in the snow but as soon as you tell them to do their business all of a sudden its too cold outside lol. I got each of my puppers a coat and now they think they're Huskies! They love them so much, when they see them get pull off the coat rack they run to the back door and wait never so patiently. These coats are water proof, so amazingly warm, and I LOVE how easy they are to put on and take off with the zipper right on top! I started looking for one in my size next! As always, Frisco got it right on the warm doggy nose!
I really like this one of the two I purchased, easy with the zipper up Heinricks back and he likes it because there is no sharp sounds of the velco upon opening. Great buy too
I have to say we are very happy with this purchase and I believe Cheech is as well!! He is always happy to step into it and it keeps him warm and dry!.. We had a hard time finding the perfect fit for his size but thanks to Chewy we found the perfect fit! Thank you
This jacket would be great if the design were better. The zipper starts at the bottom of the back making the heaviest part of the jacket the last part to zip, and therefore difficult to put on (especially if your dog wiggles at all).
