My Pug/SharPei mix is 25# and blocky in shape. I ordered her both the medium and the large, and she tried on the large first. It seems to be a good fit in her girth, although a smidgeon long past her curled Pug tail. Because she hasn't actually worn it on a walk yet, I can't give it a 5-star, but it is an easy fit to put on her. I wish someone would come up with a solution that didn't include stiff velcroed straps over the belly.
My 5-month old cockapoo loves this raincoat! He absolutely hates walking in the rain and will sit at the door and refuse to go outside. However, with this coat on, he’s his usual eager self to go outside. While he doesn’t like the hood at all, this is very minor to me. As a raincoat, it’s great quality: the water beads right off, it has a nice hole for the leash (as well as a covering for the hole, so the rain doesn’t get in), and it stays nicely in-place. I also really like that’s it’s reversible. And, more on the selfish side, he looks so stinkin’ cute, so I’m thrilled with this purchase! Lastly, for reference my puppy is about 13.5 lbs and while the small does fit, I’m sure he will quickly grow out of it. When in doubt (or in-between sizes like it my pup’s case), definitely size up!
My dog is 15lbs mini schnauzer and a small was perfect for him! We also got an x-large for our 55lbs and it works great for her too. Super easy to put on and take off! So cute
