Great coat runs small
This is a great, well made, warm coat, but it runs smaller than the manufacturer's charts would have you believe. The XXX-Large is too small on my male German Shepherd. The front leg holes are large enough for his legs, but positioned so that once we squeezed him into it, it was almost impossible to get him out. Wish it really fit large breeds. If you have a smaller dog - good product.
Frisco Love insulated Dog / Cat coat
This is a great rain coat for my 8 month old mini- American Shepherd (AKA: mini-Aussie). Nice to only spend a brief time drying him off if we have walked in the rain (which has been the case a few times lately). Also feel he doesn't get as cold with it on as it is nicely insulated. I have thrown it in the dryer to dry it out as the garage is too cold for the coat to dry between walks. I do have a second coat also, different style, that I use as we walk twice a day every day.
Very Nice for 70 pound Pittie
I wasn't sure I'd like this coat but it turned out to be really nice. My dog is very skiddish about wearing anything but he is tolerating it well. There aren't any back under leg straps, which is what he hates, but it stays in place. The rain runs off of it and it even has pockets for poop bags, etc. The velcro closure is substantial and keeps the fleece lining snug against his body. My only negative is that its kind of hard to get his legs through the holes. Very well made as well.
Cute but Poorly Designed
One star for cuteness but this coat failed miserably. It was extremely hard to put on and take off my dog. It required bending his front legs in awkward positions to get them through the leg holes and after one attempt, and him showing discomfort, this coat is being returned. Chewy customer service was amazing to work with.
Woo Hoo! Look How Cute I Am!
This coat is a perfect fit, beautiful color and the hoodie makes it so fun! The only reason for the 4 star review is the Velcro is located on the chest/belly, making it somewhat challenging to put on/remove; otherwise, perfect!
Warm Dog Coat
Very well made. Keeps my dog nice and warm and shielded against the cold wind. Good price for great dog coat. I just wish they had it in more colors. Olive was the only color available when I ordered, but olive looks nice
Difficult to put on
Because of the design of this jacket, I have to pull my dog's leg back in an awkward position to get this coat on her. It would be a better design if it zipped on the back. But it velcros on the underside. Wish I would've realized this before I spent the money on it.
nice heavy coat that resists rain
This is a nice heavy coat with a velcro closure down the chest. It's also water resistant. It hasa sheep-skin like liner with nice outer liner. It's also flat out adorable, with two pockets and a hoodie that snaps to the back of the coat neck. A must for the poor pup who needs extra protection in the winter.
80 pound Schnauzer
I bought two of these for my 80 pound giant schnauzer and the XXL size fits them perfectly. Very warm and keeps the snow off of them, for reference I live in the mountains of Colorado so it really does keep them very warm. Only down side is the stitching, could be better one of my dogs loves to pull the others dog jacket off and I have already re-Stitched it
Winter dog coat
Nice quality but runs a little small. Didn't fit but I donated to local rescue where there will be a dog who can use!
