What size is a medium, inches?

For the best fit, we recommend measuring your pet and matching your pet's measurements as closely as possible to the sizing chart. To measure your pet's body length, measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. To measure the neck girth, measure around your pet's neck leaving room for two fingers and to measure chest girth, measure your pet's chest around the widest part. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.
Is there much stretch thru the stomach area

The Super-soft knit material has some stretch. For the best fit, match the dimensions in the “Size” tab to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

Perfect sweater!

My little Boston Terrier gets so cold and shivery on her walks. This sweater fits her perfectly, it's easy to get on her and the hole for the leash is placed just right. It covers her but still allows her to move freely. I couldn't be happier with the sweater. I love the colors too.

Rat Terrier Loves No complaints

Molly my 6 month old Rat Terrier loves it no issues. She get 1/2 in morning and other 1/2 in evenings. Plus Free Will Dry, SDiet Puppy and ProPlan Puppy. We have happy go lucky spoiled loving Ratty.

He likes it!

My dogs don't generally wear clothes but Toby is cold-natured so I thought he might be warmer with a sweater IF he would wear one. This sweater is soft, fits well and he seems to like wearing it. I measured his chest and ordered according to the recommended size.

Love This Style

This is the second sweater like this that I purchased. The first one fit perfectly, is cozy enough for cold weather and is very durable. It is easy to put on the squirmiest of pooches, and my mixed terrier seems to like wearing it. I opted for a slightly different pattern this time for variety. An added bonus is its reasonable price.

Awesome sweater

I would highly recommend this sweater. It’s longer than other sweaters I’ve gotten for my fur baby (to the base of his tail), which is great for keeping him warm. It’s also soft. I got him a small and it fits him perfectly. He weighs 8 1/2 lbs, and is 10 inches from the base of his neck to the base of his tail. Works nicely under his puffer vest.

Love this sweater.

My small dog was sent a fan of clothing. But- once it turned cold and he was shivering I ordered this sweater. It’s easy to put on him. He doesn’t mind wearing the t. It covers him all the way down his back and isn’t too bulky. Most of all he doesn’t shiver on his walks and is completely comfortable.

Perfect Fit for my JRT

I've got a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier and these Frisco sweaters just fit her perfectly They're snug but not tight around her big chest and neck, which is nice because she doesn't slip out of them like other brands. They're also long and they go to her tail, but not too long. She's about 17lbs and the size measurements worked well to help me get her the M size correctly.

Love the sweater!

Perfect sweater for our German Shorthair Pointer. I ordered the XXX-L, he's 75 lbs. Fits great, comfortable, warm, soft. Goes in the washer and dryer and it holds up to all of his active indoor and outdoor activities. It doesn't interfere with going to the potty.
