Good concept but not for my adventurous kitties
The weather has not been great, but I decided to try this outdoor cat playpen with my nine month old kittens. They love to be outdoors and climb trees and have adventures. We put this up in the living room at first so that they could get used to the concept of it. They stayed away. They played in the tunnel a little bit, but they did not enjoy the size of the playpen. When they are outside, they do not want to sit still in a small tent. So for now, we leave it inside and they can hang out and play in the tunnel but they don’t want to stay in it. It might be more fun with more attachments and putting it through the yard with more tunnels. I do like the concept that it will keep my kitties safe and close to home. All while still letting them get some fresh air. We sprinkled it with cat nip, and they love to run through the tunnel to get to that. It would probably be better for an older cat that just wants to catch some rays of sun and smell the air.it is very easy to put together and it pops right up. Easy to take down and store in it’s own carrying bag. Well made but mesh could be ripped with determined kitty claws.
Cats like it but folding the tube is cumbersome
Popping the playpen and the tube is a breeze but folding it back up is very cumbersome, especially the tube. Collapsing the tube took little effort but securing the three straps around the tube was finger pinching work as I feel the straps were too short and the locking pin was quite wide-- making it diffuclt to push them back into the thin straps. There's a learning curve to folding the playpen but once you figure it out it's not that bad. Both the pen and the tube are the perfect size for indoor and outdoor play although if indoors you have to find a way to secure the pen down so that it doesn't move because during play the cats can eaaily cause the playpen to either flip over or collapse onto itself. Then it becomes more work for you than play for them. Outdoors however, anchoring the playpen and tube is easy as there are straps to pin the playpen and tube to the ground. You can even use pins to change the shape of the tube to a curve. My cats Love the fuzzy ball connected to the tube. The mesh is great for watching them play and for sparking our cats' curiosity. Love the colors and the patterns on the fabric. Both the fabric and the mesh seem quite durable which is good because my cats love to scratch and tear at things when they play. The matching tote bag is a great idea for storage. Aside from the difficulty in taking the unit down, I like this for my cats.

I actually got this for some puppies and I have to tell you it is so dang cute watching them play in this thing! They love running thru it and attacking the little hanging ball at the end. I love that its super easy and quick to put up and pack away and it provides lots of stimulation and fun for my pets!
Hours of Play
The Frisco Mesh Outdoor Extra Tall Pop Up Cat Playpen and Tunnel provides hours of fun and play for our fur babies. The playpen is lightweight, sturdy, and made from quality material. I love how easy the playpen is to set up, take down, and store away. The only con I can found is that the playpen does not stay in one area on our kitchen linoleum unless we secure it down. But this was not an issue for us, the cats enjoy playing in it so much. We are truly pleased with this product.
Frisco Pop-up Fun
This mesh outdoor pop-up playpen and tunnel is one of the coolest things I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning and our cats are completely thankful! I love the leaf print and it folds down and into a matching bag! Easy storage! I also love that there is options for outside but it works inside as well on the not so nice weather days. It’s a great size at a whopping 3 ft in length and 2 ft high! It also gives our cats some enrichment and fun exploring!
My cats love it
I bought this Frisco outdoor extra tall mesh pop up cat playpen and tunnel for my 2 fully grown cats I was surprised to see it was big enough for my 2 grown 8 year old cats and they love it. They are indoor cats who gets very little outdoor time under supervision only but they enjoy their new tent and their outdoor time with it.
Works great
So this works great for cats outdoors, i have two hefty cats and they loved sitting outside in this bird watching. I also tried this with a small puppy as well and worked great. Wouldn’t recommend for larger or more hyper pups though. It’s easy to pop up and easy to break down for easy storage. Highly recommend.
Great
Cat loves relaxing in the tent. It's a great size and easy to take apart to take with you. Great way to keep cat entertained. I would definitely recommend for family and friends who have cats. It is an amazing product
So much fun!
My cat has had so much fun in this tunnel since I’ve received it! You can remove the mesh doors that would be in place for outside use. I fill the “pit area” up with his favorite toys and he runs in and out all day and night. Great quality, sturdy, you can purchase more tunnels to link together.
Best cat toy ever
This cat tunnel is great! The first second I popped it open, my kitten began running through it and playing on it. She races in and out and it ended up being hours of fun for her. It is easy to store since it pops open and I would definitely recommend to a friend
