Best for Females

I ordered this for our male pup. I ordered a size according to the measurements on the web site and it fits him well but it looks very girly on him. The biggest problem is that it completely covers his lower abdomen so he would end up peeing on it if I left it on him to go to the bathroom. The material is nice so I gave it three stars but it would defiantly be better for a female where a covered abdomen isn't an issue.

Cute but not functional

The fur on the collar of this coat is cute. But the shiny silver back makes her look like a spaceman (my neighbor makes fun of us every time). The worst part is that the velco that holds the coat closed around the neck is ripping off and doesn't stick. so don't get this coat if your dog is active at all. We're not even halfway through December and her coat is already useless, didn't even last one season.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a large size for my 19 pound Maltese mix dog. She is slender, so it was too big around her chest. However, with the Velcro, I was able to make it work.

I like the coat. It does run a little bit small especially around the neck. My dog does not like putting his foot in. It’s a little thinner than I expected.

Finn is a super active lad mix. I swear he's part dear with the way he runs and leaps over fences. On cold days he nudges his coat before going on a walk.

ExceptionalIy fast service. I finally found a coat that is long enough without being too big around the chest to fit my dachshund-like poodle mix. The chest can be closed tight enough to avoid drafts while still being long enough to cover most of her back and abdomin. She can wear it over a sweatshirt so I think it will be warm enough for sub-freezing temps.

Poor sizing

I ordered the XXXL for my pup. The sizing is not correct. Now I have to take time to return the coat. I wanted to get my pup coats before it gets cold. We are getting cold weather next week. I bought 3 different coats & none fit!! I’m really disappointed!
