The micro crystals are the least invasive materials for kitty paws, it's more like sand than the larger crystals. It sifts very easily through a scoop and I find the unscented is perfect to keep a litter box smelling good for a few weeks (with 2 cats).

Crystal cat litter is a game changer! 1. This is FANTASTIC in terms of odor. Sometimes I forget we have a litter box because I don't smell it at all anymore, which is even more impressive to me because this is 100% unscented litter. 2. It is equally as fantastic in terms of cleanup. Our cats are diggers and dig to the bottom of the box to potty no matter how much litter we use. Nothing sticks to the box anymore! No more gagging while cleaning clay litter! 3. This litter does not stick to kitty paws and our girls don't track litter all over the house anymore! The only downfalls I found for this litter are: 1. It is most noticeable when I add litter to the box or change the litter out completely, but I do notice it when I clean the litter also. The dust is comparable to dust from clay litter, but I think that can largely be attributed to this being a "fine" litter. 2. The litter is so fine that our kitties kick it out of the box easily and we have a high sided box. It isn't uncommon to find a pile of clean litter behind the box because they fling it over the box. All in all, I would recommend this litter to anyone wanting to give crystal litter a try. Personally, I will probably swap to a more coarse crystal litter to help cut down on the dust & kicking issues, but even with those issues, this still beats out traditional clay litter any day and I would absolutely use this again! … more

I am overall happy with this litter. It takes care of odors well and my cats like it. It does track though which I would expect from a litter of this size.

It was better than normal kitty litter. But, not as good as pretty kitty litter

This litter is awesome! We just got a kitten and have had this litter out for almost a month - absolutely no smell. It is super absorbent and so easy to scoop. Our kitten took to it immediately. There’s no scent (as advertised) and barely any dust. 10/10 would recommend!

Litter works fine EXCEPT the pee solidifies and adheres to any scratched surface in the litter box. Not easy to remove at all. Not ordering again.

I moved from the kittypoo club where I learned about crystals to a litter robot and love not having clay clumps to scrap out. It could be less dust but it isn’t terrible. It is also easier to see if your cat has blood in urine, though it is not the type that changes color due to that condition.

We have 15 rescues and spend a lot of time working with cat liter. This liter is great in terms of odor control but has a major lingering dust after each cleaning that spreads. This is my only complaint, but it is a big one, unfortunately. We are heading back to the Ultra Micro Crystals if Chewy can keep it in stock.

I have a hairless cat who can only use crystal litter as she gets a skin rash and it also has to be in scented. Regular crystals don’t clump and when they are tracked on the floor it feels like you’re stepping glass. This product is phenomenal. It not only clumps the urine but it’s is very fine so when tracked you won’t notice if you step on it. I will be ordering this from now on.

This is our first try with any microcrystals. Have been using regular sized crystals of several brands. Crystal litters are a huge improvement over clay litter! These microcrystals have much less scatter. So far so good.
