Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions
For first time users, we recommend a gradual switch to our product. Start with 2/3 of your old cat litter and 1/3 of your new Frisco Litter. Over time, continue to add more of the Frisco Brand until your cat box has fully transitioned to this product.
Add approximately 4 inches of Frisco cat litter to a clean, dry litter box (this allows your cats to dig and cover their waste naturally). Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away waste. Add more Frisco cat litter as necessary to maintain a depth of 4 inches. Additional Instructions
Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination. Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid. Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
Where is this litter made?
Frisco Micro Crystal Unscented Clumping Crystal Cat Litter is made in China and designed and tested to meet our high-quality standards.
What is the best way to transition litters?
Most cats will have little to any resistance to transitioning to Frisco Micro Crystals Cat Litter. If your cat does not use the new litter quickly and is reluctant to enter the litter box then try the following: o Start with filling the bottom of the litter pan with the bag of Frisco Micro Crystal litter then pour a thin layer of your cat’s previous cat litter on top. Your cat will naturally mix the litter over time and become acclimated to the new texture.
Can this litter be mixed with clay while transitioning?
For best results, do not mix with other cat clay litters or additives. Just pour a thin layer of the previous litter on top so your cat will enter and use the litter box. Your cat will begin mixing the litters with its paws and after several days you will not need to do anything besides scoop the solid waste and stir the litter.
How much litter should I fill my box with?
Fill clean litter box with 3-4 inches of Frisco Micro Crystal Cat Litter.
Can this litter be used in an automatic box?
This litter can be used in any automatic litter box that supports the use of crystal litter.
Is this litter low tracking?
Always use a litter mat with your crystal litter. Crystal litter is light weight and dry so it can have a cling effect to your cat’s paws and a mat will help collect crystals to avoid tracking. Cats may like the sand texture so much that they may get overzealous in covering so always use a litter mat outside the box to collect any flying crystals.
How often should I scoop?
Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away waste. Add more Frisco cat litter as necessary to maintain a depth of 3-4 inches.
Are the crystals biodegradable?
This is litter is not biodegradable and should be disposed in the garbage only.
What is the best way to dispose of used litter?
Dispose of used litter in trash. Do not flush

Terrible Clumping
Not my favorite litter. We use this in our automatic box and it clumps great for the automatic rake but the clean up is terrible. It clumps and hardens into an actual brick and sticks so hard onto the tray that you need a metal scraper to scratch it off or practically chisel it down. If you don’t plan on cleaning up immediately after your kitty goes, don’t get this litter. It does the job for litter but you can’t let it sit for even a few hours.
My cats love this litter, and so do I
If ridding your house of litter box smell is your goal this litter is a big help. I used this litter off and on and finally tested it with my cats to see if they prefer this or clay (2 cats, 3 boxes). For 2 weeks the clay box sat unused, not even a paw print in the sand. This stuff does a great job hardening and trapping smells from urine and feces. Reviewers are correct that this litter hardens urine like concrete. My solution was to add liners to their boxes. An added expense for sure, but I simply lift the corners of the liners and the concrete chunks pull away for easy scooping. The addition of the liners also contributes to odor control. I have a small house so the smell used to be everywhere, but this combo has limited cat box odor to the cat box. Some dust, but less than I used to find with clay. For those complaining about tracking outside the box I ask, what litter have you ever used that didn't? I'd really love to know! My solution was litter trapping mats. Works great! Still a little cleanup, but I should vacuum weekly anyway. Like many, I've spent a ton of money trying different litter box smell solutions, from automatic cleaning boxes to rock-hard pellets (talk about tracking, those things are like stepping on Legos!), and I can say that my current setup is working best. Other tips that may not be necessary but help with odor control and litter expense is a litter genie for daily scooping, and once a week I use a sifting litter box to clean the litter. This helps get the pieces I may have missed during the week and allows me to reuse the litter and extend it's life. Is this a lot? Yes. Are my fur babies worth it? Yes. Does my house smell better? Yes.
Best One So Far
Since Cat's Pride isn't available anymore, we have been on a search for a new litter. So far this is the BEST. We have one older male cat and two middle-aged female cats. The older male urinates a lot. He has since we brought him home from the shelter. He would use a corner of the pan and the urine would flow down to his feet. As a result, his back feet would always have a coat of clay litter on them which he would then track around the house. This litter absorbs the litter, and he now has clean feet. The two females have not used the pan with this litter so we don't know how they like it. We have four pans for three cats. Three pans have clay litters we are trying out.
Disappointed
The liter sticks to my cats feet. I have a grate at the entrance of the literbox in the bathtub, a rug especially made to catch liter on their feet outside the bathtub, and another rug leaving the bathroom, and I still find liter all around the house. I clean the box 3x a day. Very disappointing.
Great Product
I liked this item better than clay litter or other brands because the micro crystals are small enough to fit in my Pet Safe Automatic Cat Box System. Sometimes, I can't afford the crystals that go with the system so to hold me over this product works very well. I have three cats who love to pee since I am the owner of the Cat-It Fountain. I have one cat who had bladder issues because he didn't drink enough so that's why I highly recommend this cat litter.
catownrrforlife
This is the worst litter I’ve ever used. It stuck to my cats paws even with a mat outside of the littler box. I had these crystals everywhere. And I continually stepped on them on my wood floors. I bought because I have a cats who’s eye water and it only started when I switched litter. BIG MISTAKE. It didn’t help her watery eyes either.
I love it
I like the clumping silica micro crystals formula far better than any of it's non-clumping counterparts. I don't like the non-clumping crystals, large or micro, in any brand I've ever tried because the urine never fully absorbs, it still stunk, and the bottom of the litter box was always still damp with urine. Great odor control and I personally would much rather deal with the hard urine clumps sticking to the bottom of the cat box when they've dried out and scraping them off with my metal scooper.
good if you clean it everyday, which u should anyw
I’ve been depressed and didn’t clean everyday due to that and used other crystal litter that stuck to the bottom I figured it was because I didn’t clean it everyday. now that I am cleaning everyday with this litter it’s fine I can sift through and see the bottom of the litter box clearly with no pee crust. Still dustier than I’d like for my sensitive cat though.
Not Satisfied
Do not buy this litter it clumps rock hard and does not scrap off of the litter box easily, even when I used a metal scrap I still could not get this litter off. Would not recommend
Buyer beware
I purchased 3 bags of this litter on black Friday sale because well it was on sale. We strickly only use silica ( crystal) cat litter for our cats. We gave tried a few different brands over time, but this one is one of the worst I've used. The " clumping" is actually turning cat pee into almost concrete at the bottom of the box. We scoop our box 2x a day and I still had issues during full litter change having to scrape off this hardened mess at the bottom of the box. On a scale of 1 to 5 - odor control 5 ! Took 3 weeks before any noticeable odor with daily 2x scooping -tracking 3, tracks more our of the box then some brands I've used but not bad - clumping 0 - reason above The bag instructions say you should only have to empty fully ever 2 to 3 months. The longest I would suggest is 4 weeks unless you want to break out the jack hammer to clean the bottom of the box. Soaking in water for 10 minutes did nothing for helping to loosen the bottom " crust". Over all its good in a bind for litter but I won't use it regularly.
