Love love love
This jacket is great. Our hairless pup loves how warm it is and I love how stylish she looks. Seeing her in it makes me laugh and smile. She kinda hates the hood which kinda droops over her head so I dont always make her wear it. But when I do I kinda tuck it back into itself so it stays back and she doesnt seem to mind. Wish it had a button to snap back on its own. Maybe eventually I will add one.
Durable and long-lasting!
Ordered this in size medium for our almost one-year old French bulldog. Fits him very well and the hood is removable (which is nice, it kept falling in his face). He wears it on cold days to the dog park and it cleans SO easily. We've had it for a few months now and it shows no sign of wear, even after a few dogs at the park tried to tear it off of him. He shows no signs of being cold even in close to single degree temps!
Amazing for my old dog
I got my old beagle this for extra chilly winter days. He hates going out to potty in the cold and then comes in and shivers for a while, but he was toasty warm in this and hopped right outside to pee and came back in with no problems! I put him in a sweater and this parka and he was so comfy he fell asleep. This is a really well made parka. The velcro stays on really well, and the buttons are very sturdy. I like that the hood is removable as well.
Beautiful Coat
Bought this coat for our 67lb pit bull mix. After carefully reading the reviews, the coat runs really small. I ordered her an XXL and it fit perfectly other than the arm holes. Luckily, I am proficient with a sewing machine and had matching thread on hand, and was able to make the holes a little larger. The hood is pretty large and our dog did not care for it covering her eyes, so we had to remove it.
Lightweight
My dog is about 60lbs I had to sue her up to an xxl so that the back covered to her tail. This is a perfect lightweight fleece lined jacket and the removable hoodie was a plus because my dog hated it. I would definitely recommend this jacket.
Fits perfectly
My pup loved this jacket. I have a 65lb short haired boxer mix and this jacket was perfect for the snow. He usually tries to bite off sweaters but he didn’t try to take this off at all. Great purchase for the price!
Still not big enough....
Purchased the largest size(xxxl) for our pyr yellow lab mix dog(who has the coat of a lab). It's better than her last coat actually covering her chest. I would have preferred another inch or two to have the top of her tail bone covered and just another inch or so around her stomach area so the coat wasn't so tight to put it on her. The hood was way too big for her... ill probably add a snap on the hood to keep it back so at leasr its still fashionable and functional. The hood does pop off btw. If it keeps her from getting a cold this year I'll deal with it for now. Will still be hunting down a 4x coat for her as well as sweaters.
Not a good fit
i started with a 2X for my full sized Golden Doodle and it was too small...barely closed in front. Re-ordered a 3X and although it does close, the hood is way too big flopping over his eyes. and the front arm holes are cut too high, so it cuts into his armpits. He is visibly uncomfortable in it. When I hold up his old jacket he wags his tail and gets excited to go out. When I hold up this new one, he runs from me. Tried it on my daughter's mixed breed and had a similar reaction.
Fits a miniature dachshund perfectly!
I followed the measurement guide and got a size small for my miniature dachshund and it fits perfectly with some room in the chest/torso to grow (she's only 8mo old). She's just under 9lbs, 14 in back length (from neck to butt), 11.5 in chest girth. If she has the hood on it covers her eyes but you can fold it back and it will keep her neck warm (it can also be removed if it ends up getting in her way too much). The quality feels better than I expected for the price!
Ripped so easily
Carl and Walter got these coats for Christmas, but we let them open them on the 23rd because they are Southern dogs and they are not used to 10 degree weather! They fit great, and were easy to get on and off. I thought they were perfect until after only wearing them 5 times one of them got a rip in it. I'm not even sure how it happened because they never stayed out for more than a few minutes, and we don't have many bushes they could have gotten caught on. We were hoping these would last for years, especially since they won't have to wear them much. Everything about them was perfect except for their durability.
