I’ve had this cat tree for 3 years now, it’s very sturdy and still looks great! It’s a bit heavy to move around, but worth it because it’s lasted longer than other trees I’ve had in the past. Pros: looks nice with my furniture and holds up well as my cats have grown and worn it in. The small cushions has lasted through multiple washes and still look comfy and soft. Cons: I took off one star because the wood is a bit slippery for them to jump up and down on so they were scared to use it, so I added some dense foam pads on the middle and top layer (the black pads in photo) that they could sink their paws into and feel more secure because it is a bit narrow and intimidating. Now they love it! If needed, I’d buy it again but I think it will last through the years!
Finally a cat tower that I can CLEAN! I foster cats and I don't always know when they arrive whether they are litter box trained, will be too stressed to use their litter box, or even whether they are feral or not. I hate to put in a "traditional" cat tower with a new cat in case they soil it. It's a real pain to clean/sanitize the other carpet/fabric covered towers. I LOVE that this one is wood with removable/washable pads. The wood is very sturdy and the whole structure is very solid (although a bit difficult to assemble due to confusing instructions). I will be making some additional pads to use on this, as the ones included are really furry. I don't know how well they'll hold up to repeated washings, and seem a little warm for summer. I'm already planning on purchasing additional condos (maybe in different sizes) for my other cat enclosures and my indoor cat!
I put this together in about 45 minutes. No problems. Good instructions and came with all the hardware. My cats love it
My cat Pierre liked this condo right away! It’s the perfect size, not too giant or too short, it’s slightly above counter-heighth that way he can see what I’m doing in the kitchen. I like the 3 levels, with the bottom being the most private, the middle a little more open, and the top completely open. The 2 massive scratching posts were a big reason why I got this as well. And it looks nice and modern!! Building it took some time and a couple of steps require two people to hold pieces up, but isn’t too bad if you follow step by step. You can see more of it on Pierre’s instagram: @pierrefluffyboy
Relatively easy to set up and looks really good for the price point. Our cats were all over it, and one already claimed the top as her throne :) FYI: our cats are pretty large 13-17lbs and the tower is still a good size for them 9/10!
Well, kitty is arriving tomorrow, so I’ll have do an update, but so far so good, though the instructions left something to be desired. Took a good couple of hours to assemble, and to say all tools included is not completely true, as a Philips head screwdriver is absolutely necessary, or you won’t get far. The pictures are not quite accurate, but I was able to mostly figure it out. One cam lock would not engage and screw into its place, but fortunately it doesn’t seem essential, yet. The screw heads are pretty soft, so take care, lest you strip them.
A little intimidated by how many pieces it came as but the directions were simple and was easy to put together but took around 45 minutes. The cats love it and it is sturdy (they regularly knocked their old one over playing on it). Have a 12 and a 10lb cat and they don’t move it an inch even with both of them on it and that’s without the wall anchor it came with, we just have it free standing.
Very easy assembly, even when I pulled it apart to flip the opening of the bottom cube so the highest point was on right. Super sturdy, and the platforms and openings are big enough for my bigger cats (+14 lbs) to lounge comfortably. Also heavy enough they won’t be tipping it over when launching off it for a zoomie session.
HI put this together for my two cats. They immediately were interested. It is a beautiful tree (more than just the carpet kind) with different points of interest...the cave, scratch pad, rope, and multi layers. Highly recommend. Relatively easy to put together too.
We recently moved and downsized, and I wanted a nicer looking cat tree than our old one. This one is perfect! The gray "wood" with the white beds matches our new house perfectly; very modern-looking (making me look a little less crazy-cat-lady LOL). The beds aren't huge, but this thing is super sturdy. Easy to assemble, cats love it!
