I don't see any sizing suggestions listed for cats... would a S or a M best fit a 10 lb cat?

For the best fit, match the dimensions on the sizing chart to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. Is this sweater fleece or Sherpa and would it be appropriate for a cat that goes outside? I live in the North and it gets incredibly cold here so I want something warm for my baby. He was a feral and, unfortunately, I can't make him into a totally indoor cat

This sweater is made of 100% acrylic material.
Is the leash hole positioned for a harness, or just to connect the leash to a collar?

The leash opening is positioned just beneath the neck and can be used for a leash or harness depending on the placement of the d-ring.
I have a Standard Poodle and he is 45 pounds. He is about the size of the white dog in the picture shown. But the size chart is different. What do you recommend and what size does the white/golden color dog have on in the picture ??

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your individual pet's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If your pet happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

Great sweater, great value

I ordered this sweater for my shirt haired dog since he needed something when it was too cold for nothing, but not cold enough for a coat. It fits like a dream. He is about 35 pounds and took a large. It fits snug, but not too tight. He is also getting so many compliments on how cute the design is. This was a great choice.

Not sized right for cats

I bought this sweater for my diabetic cat who is always cold. I tried a couple of times to get it over her head. The third time, I scrunched up the neck it up and got it on her, but realized it was too long and bulky for a cat, so I took it off right away. It probably is better for a dog.

Cute but small

This sweater was very cute and stretchy and Bruno looked very handsome in it. He's a Doberman and has a large, barrel chest. I order him the XL thinking the XXL would be too big. It seems very tight around his chest and appears to cut into his "arm pits" on his front legs. I'm sure if I snip little openings in them it will be a bit more comfortable. Overall, it's very cute for the holidays.

Just right

Bought this sweater in a medium for my 3 months old Australian Shepherd. I was worried about the fit and quality since it was such a great price; but there was nothing to worry about. It arrived quickly, fit perfectly and didn't damage at all in the wash. I did let it air dry, justto be on the safe side. We're very pleased and will buy more for next winter.

The best sweater yet.

I bought this during the unusual cold nights we were getting over the holidays and i kept my baby nice and warm on our walks. When he sees it he gets happy and ready to go out. There have been other sweaters he would not but on so this tells me he likes it. The pattern is just like the picture and well made. Will definitely get more from Chewy again

Dog Sweater

This sweater arrived on time, and met the description. The only issue I have is that is seems to run small. We have a great dane and ordered an XXXL based on the dimensions, and it still seems slightly snug. We are hoping it relaxes a little bit and becomes less snug because it is a great sweater and looks nice on our girl!!

Cute and comfy holiday dog sweater!

I bought this sweater for my Rough Collie girl, who loves to wear pet clothing. It's extremely cute on her! Since Rough Collies have really long trunks, I used her body length measurement to choose a size XL for her. It's perfect!

Cute and warm

Washed well on delicate in California led water and dryer on low heat. No shrinkage. My dog gets cold in the winter and he loves his sweater. Keeps him warm and is cute too.

Best sweaters

The size chart worked great for our two fur babies. The King Charles Cavalier weighs 22 pounds so got a large. The Beagle mix is 40 pounds so got an extra large. The sweater is warm and super cute!
