About This Item
- Frisco’s Fresh Scent litter is the perfect option for households with multiple cats so you can avoid unpleasant litter box odors.
- Every swipe of the paw releases a fresh, clean scent as the unique deodorizing system neutralizes offensive smells.
- This litter forms solid clumps that you can easily scoop and dispose of without making a mess around the litter box.
- Special formula eliminates strong ammonia smells for around-the-clock odor control and its light fragrance is activated when your cat moves the litter and when you remove clumps from the litter box.
- Low-dust, low-tracking formula has a dirt-like feel, so it’s soft on the paws, and helps keep litter from forming trails around the house.

Fresh but not for very long.
I tried this litter because the price is unbeatable. When I dumped it into my freshly cleaned and sanitized litterbox, my goofy orange cat loved it so much she rolled in it. Imagine a dog finding a stinky dead thing in your yard. *That* kind of aggressive rolling. I thought, we were off to a great start! It was great for all of about 2 days. Good point to make: Smell control is doable but not great. Litter tracking is dang near nonexistent for having 3 cats. Not good point to make: Clumping power absolutely sucks. If you can't manage to scoop a pee clump within 5 minutes of your cat leaving it, be prepared for excessive crumbling. I can't just leave those little crumbles either- they stink. Even with daily scooping the smell control just can't hang. So I have to get a disposable cup and scoop all that out and I've wasted more litter doing this than my cats actually use. Less than 2 weeks in and I am switching back to Fresh Step Outstretch.
With daily cleaning, I found this litter to keep the cat smell to a minimum, even if my daughter skips a day or two. 3 days, though, is too long and I smell it. When I end up having to clean the litter box, Ive found that it clumps hard and easy to scoop up. My one cat does tend to leave a mess of litter outside his box, and because the pebbles are so small, they do travel in his paws all the way out to the hallway from the bathroom. This is my go-to on autoship and one bag lasts about 2 months.
Not what I ordered or comparable to what I had
I had the arm and hammer naturals in my autoship and received this the last two times an order was placed. I did not switch to this litter. The first time I thought maybe they were OOS lf the A&H and sent me this in its place and said Nothing. I gave it a try and hated it. It doesn't lock in odors. It doesnt clump well. We have to change the litter completely once a week. I have no received it again and just want to return it.
Overall great clumping litter for the price
The one downside to buying FORTY POUNDS of litter in a plastic bag is when the bag has a small hole in it, as mine did. I dumped the entire bag into the litter box because I didn't know what else to do with the leaking litter bag. If you have a plastic tub with a scoop, this would be great to refill it
so far the bed
I am a first time cat keeper so I am stills trying out different brands of litters and so far this is the best one I bought. It absorbs the scent so well that I even forgot to clean because I thought I already did. And the scent is not too strong to make me couldn’t breath well but strong enough to cover the bad smell.
Love this litter - best clumping, no dust.
This is the best litter I have found. It really clumps so well and is very low dust. It also costs so much less than other brand name litters I have tried and has way less dust. Like hardly any at all. I was buying the 40 pound bag but it is really too heavy for me to carry so I was so pleased to find that it also comes in 20 pound bags. This stuff is seriously the best. Best clumping, no dust, and costs so much less than the big name brands.
Good price and quality
This litter is working great for my 3 fur-babies. I have 3 boxes and only put this litter in one box to see if they had a preference. All 3 boxes were clean and fresh. Tidy cat in 2 boxes this litter in one box and all 3 went to the box with this litter. Great affordable price to. Thank you Chewy!
Wish I were happier
We purchased this litter because it came recommended as the best overall value in clumping litter on a shopping site I use. We have a litter robot and the litter we'd been using - and previously thrilled with - wasn't working. So far Frisco certainly seems to clump better in the robot, but I now have white paw prints everywhere! I've never had such a problem in the decades I've been a pet parent. The photo shows a portion of the prints - which look like actual prints in person - on our garage floor. I had already cleaned the hardwoods and furniture tops inside... Looks like we'll continue our search for the best match between clumping and our robot.
Love this litter
I'm still on the first 40 lb bag, which I will never buy again as I can barely lift the bag. But, I am going to buy the 20 lb bags because this is a great litter. I have 3 cats and have had cats all my 70+ years, but what I really like about this litter (besides the price), is that the cats don't seem to track it like the other litters, and it does keep the odor down.
I bought 2 bags of Friaco multi cat clumping litter and no it’s def no good for even one cat. It did not clump enough so several times the urine went to the bottom of the litter pan (and yea there was plenty of litter I pan) and I had to scrape it off bottom of pan.
