Frisco Multi-Cat Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter is made of natural clay that forms hard clumps for easy scooping. The granules create a powerful bond to lock in moisture and prevent any liquid from getting to the bottom of the litter box. This litter is specially formulated to neutralize odors quickly and is low tracking, so there’s less mess and no scattered litter trails. It’s hypo-allergenic to common allergens such as dust, plant proteins and fragrances. Frisco Multi-Cat is the pet-preferred, heavy-duty litter that’s ideal for sifting and mechanical boxes, and is highly effective in multiple-cat households.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.
For first time users, we recommend a gradual switch to our product. Start with 2/3 of your old cat litter and 1/3 of your new Frisco Litter. Over time, continue to add more of the Frisco Brand until your cat box has fully transitioned to this product.

This was my staple litter for a very long time. Before, it was Dr. Elsey's, which became expensive. I've been using a self cleaning litter box for years, which requires a clumping litter. It seems that the less clumping and increased dust issues are across the board with many brands. I have replaced 3 motors in a very short time with my self cleaning litter box due to the pasting causing a strain on the conveyor and carousel assemblies. I'm now back to a standard litterbox until I settle on another brand. WHAT I SUSPECT is cost cutting issues, even though prices continue to rise. The difference could be in the formulations. Bentonite is the clumping mineral that is used. Clay does not clump. I suspect that the ratios of the two are being manipulated in order to maintain profit margins at our expense. Everyone has gotten on board with the "inflation". I would rather pay the difference for a product that does what it says, instead of paying more and getting less. I've about had it with camouflaged or hidden cost increases, as I'm sure you are too. I think it's about time to voice opinions and to help stop what's really going on.
I'm not sure if the processing changed but the last couple orders of Frisco have been so much more dusty that I can feel it in my respiratory tracks after I clean the boxes. I can't imagine how much is being inhaled by my cats. The first time I ordered it, it was less dusty than the Arm and Hammer but I think I'll have to go back. I have 4 bag 40lb bags left of it that I'm worried to use though. I don't recommend this cat litter.
I have been a regular Tiday cats/ Arm and Hammer cat liter buyer- but this heats them both!. The clumps are hard- the odor fighting is hard core-( like I almost forget there is a liter box, then I SEE it is completely full!!) AND last but not least it has hardly any dust. I am happy it is better for my cats because they are breathing in toxins and it has been a breeze to clean! AND I AM NOT SPONSORED- just really impressed!! Love Chewy's brand of liter will have to explore there other items now
I had been buying Dr. Elsey’s cat litter. Chewy algorithms thought I might like this litter as apparently they found it similar. This Chewy brand is unsatisfactory to me. It does NOT clump well. (See pic). It has a horrible DUST PLUME each time I scoop. It starts to small quicker than other brands of litter. We have a layer of dust on furniture each time my cats use their box. Then again, when I scoop. Unacceptable!
I had always used Fresh Step with my last cat. Bought some here for Desmond and it poorly clumped. I asked the owner of Smokey Acres Rescue what she used and she recommended this by Frisco. I can't believe how well it clumped. Glad it is unscented and happy it comes in a 20 pound bag so I can handle it better. And it is priced nice!!
This litter lasts longer than other brands and clumps well. My cats actually preferred scented Scoop Away before I tried this. Now they are okay with either. Chewy/Frisco, I have just one request. I recently received a pacemaker and will be unable to buy this brand anymore unless you breakdown the weight to 4x 10 pound bags to equal the 40 pounds, much like how Scoop Away has 4 small convenient bags in their 42 pound product. Having a pacemaker now limits how much weight I can lift and carry to about 12 pounds. I am also on Social Security and must budget as much as possible. Please give folks like me a chance to buy great products like this without a change in price. ❤️ Millie's and Cynthia's mama
I really love this litter. I foster kittens so i go through a lot of litter, and have tried out several different brands. I prefer unscented. This litter holds moisture well(Not muddy), clumps nicely, isn't super dusty, but best of all it sifts quickly! This means scooping multiple boxes is faster, but also you don't have to shake up the scoop to get to the nuggets, just a tilt and it sifts right out. The downside is... the price of this litter has skyrocketed! At the beginning of the year it was $16, and now it's $22! I guess I'll have to start looking at other bands again, as that puts a major hit on my fostering budget.
I used to love this cat litter, but the formula must have changed recently. The price went up by several dollars and it just isn't the same. It no longer clumps correctly and breaks apart everywhere when scooping. It used to be low tracking and now I find it all over the house. Some of my cats have stopped burying their waste, probably because of the large amount of dust. I used to recommend this cat litter, but not anymore. unless the formula goes back to how it was I will be on the search for a new cat litter!!
I've been using this litter for a while now and I love it! A bag lasts us a couple of weeks to a month with 6 cats, which is great for the price! I haven't had any problems with dust at all and it's overall a fantastic clumping litter.
Two bags were torn......had cat litter all over the porch from delivery. Boxes were torn also! Seemed more dusty than usual too! A lot of trouble for your high prices as your prices went way up. Can get another brand for same price in store.
