Terrible Cat Litter
I bought this cat litter because of a Chewy recommendation when the cat litter I usually buy was out of stock. As a senior citizen I found this litter bag too heavy to handle, it was difficult to pour from. I won't buy this again, hopefully the litter I usually order will be back in stock
Sticks bad; making cleaning difficult.
I’ve had a lot of cat litter. Cleaned daily, filled up properly, etc. but it seems the urine just seeps to the bottom and the litter isn’t soaking it quick enough or not as much. So when it’s at the sides or bottom, it’s difficult to clean/scrap up. And at least with other litters it soaks it up enough to where it is still wet/muddy. It’s a decent size bag that lasts a while but the timing to clean out the box isn’t worth it. And I only have one cat. It does hide the smell really good which is a plus but I rather use other litter that’s easier to clean. This might be ideal for kittens that’ll last a while and not use so much.
Works so much better!
This litter works really well. I have been trying to find an economical dust free litter and this is that for sure! It clumps well and doesn't track litter everywhere. My only wish is that it would handle the smell a little better, but I am a compulsive scooper so that I can deal with a lot better than the dust and mess. Thank you, Frisco!!
Just what I’ve been looking for
I’m on a mission to find a cat litter that is low dust and doesn’t track excessively… And this is it! Very little to no tracking and very little to low dust, especially when scooping. Heights the smell well and lightweight and very easy to scoop.
A very good product
Frisco litter clumps easy and there is no odor. It does not track or remain on the paws of the cat.
My new favorite litter.
This is hands down the best litter I’ve ever bought. My cat has soft stool and usually with other litters, his poop would fall apart while I’m scooping them. But not with this litter. It clumps up really really well. The pee doesn’t get stuck at the bottom or create unnecessary tiny pieces of litter. Oh and it covers up the smell really well. Definitely worth 5 stars!
This cat litter seemed like a good deal for the amount. It says clumping, but it does NOT clump. This is an issue. On to find one that says clumping and actually does just that.
Economical but won’t purchase again. The litter pieces are large and white and stand out on my brown laminate floor. It flies out with my cats much more than my old litter.
Litter is OK, plastic bag is a nightmare
The litter is very fine grain and fine. The 40 lb. bag is totally unmanageable. First, in slicing open the box, it is hard not to slice open the plastic bag, so out comes the duct tape. Then, trying to pick up and carry the wiggly 40-lb. bag is difficult, and so you have to scoop it into hard plastic containers to carry and it inevitably spills...no thanks.
I would definitely still recommend this brand as the clay clumps really well and isn’t dusty. However, when scooping today I pulled out this huge metal bolt that looks to have been in the litter. Added photos. One next to my thumb for size reference. I am glad it didn’t hurt my cat as there are some sharp edges.
