MY little Henry was a stinker when it came to using furniture as his scratching posts, I tried a couple of different types to get him to change his destructive ways, none worked til I got these super cheap alternatives! Yahoo!!
My cats love this! Reasonably priced too. One drawback is it can be a little messy, but totally worth it because they get so much joy out of tearing it up... and it's not my furniture for a change!
I have 10 kitties I have rescued over the last 3 years and this is the only type of scratching board one of them likes. He likes it because he can climb to the "top of the mountain", turn around and scratch his way down! I do wish I could just buy the largest one because the other two don't get much use.
I bought this on a whim for a cat who wants the whole world to be her scratching post. She's in love with these! Every time she walks by one, she scratches on it, so I put them in several rooms. She even like to sleep on it. What a surprising hit for such a simple scratcher!
Pretty good scratcher. It provides a place for his nails.
