NOT FOR CHEWERS OR DESTROYERS... My dogs really liked this. I got two because I have two dogs that both like to claim the toys and play differently with them. However, within an hour of giving this to them, they tore a hole where the ball is pieced together at a seam and discovered the stuffing. I got it from them right away as I was watching & correcting them for ruining their fun new toy! I'm giving it a fairly high rating of "4" because they really had a good time with it while it lasted and really, will destroy any toy that they love. They're pretty hard on their toys. My dogs are boxer/bully and husky/bully/lab/bulldog mixes, about 60 pounds each. Similar to another reviewer, I got this thinking that I would be able to throw it for my dogs in winter weather/snow and have it still be visible. Sadly, they didn't last long enough to experience that. … more

I bought this and the dumbbell one and both were garbage. They were destroyed in a matter of an hour or so. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Lasted less than 5min
By Maize on Mar 24, 2020
This toy felt very durable, but my 2yo Blue Heeler proved that wrong in mere minutes! She isn't typically destructive, but she does find weak spots quickly, and takes advantage! We will keep it since returning is a pain and only let her play fetch with it, no unsupervised chewing.

Sorry usually no problem.

Shih tzu. Didn't like. Chase thru handle literally in 15 min. Waste of money.

Lasted less than three minutes
By Chewuptoy on Mar 12, 2020
Thought this would be a great toy to expend some of our three year-old Pit’s energy. He saw it and fell in love with it. “Yay! Let’s go play!” He had it ripped open at the seam and stuffing strewn across the living room before I could even get his leash on. Epic fail.

Our 7 month Weimaraner loves toys that have a rope or handle attached, so he went crazy for this toy!

My 10mo old GSD chewed through this in less than an hour. Chewed the handle off in minutes, and then chewed through the football part. He loved it while it lasted tho.lol

Interesting

We got both Red and Blue options, the hand straps were both chewed off the first day. Pups will play with this if we initiate, but not on there own.

Great until it wasn't...
By RottieMom on Jan 25, 2020
Rottie loves playing football w/our son. The seams just gave way over time. At least we got a few months of fun out of it.

poor quality for aggressive dogs

My grand puppy (2) yrs Pepper chewed thru this in a matter of 15 mins . I was in awe watching her methodically rip apart the lil knobs on the outside . Im glad I didn’t pay a lot for it . I threw it away after she got to the stuffing .

Livening this durable chuck thing. My rescue pibble is still learning what play is and loves tug of wars and chasing this toy.
