Sock Length: This is the total length of the sock itself.

Problem solved!
By DeeLabMom on Apr 2, 2022
Bought these for my 14 yr old Labrador because she has become extremely hesitant to walk on our hardwood floors in her elderly years. She was reluctant to walk with them on at first, but has now realized they help her not to slip any longer. We're thrilled that she has the “footies” to help her overcome her fear.

Where have these been?
By Angie on Mar 6, 2022
These are exactly what I've been looking for and needing. My dogs have allergies and will start to lick their feet. These socks are perfect when I need to put something on their feet to protect them from licking medicine off. The velcro straps are great! I've bought a handful more pairs to have on hand, and a few extras for gifts. The sizing was easy on these.

Exactly what we needed, 6 stars!
By Bluetickmom on Feb 3, 2022
I’ve been looking for socks for my Bluetick coonhound but most socks in petstores are meant for tiny dogs. My boy has big feet, so big socks are hard to find. He needs socks in order to a) keep his snow boots on properly, b) keep him from licking paw balm off, and c) cover bandages for future toe boo-boos. These will do just that. I ordered a size 7 thinking they would run small — they don’t, so order your dog’s actual size lol. Size 7 leaves a little bit of wiggle room on his front paws which is okay, but they’re a bit too baggy on the back paws. But this is okay, because they’ll fit over a bandage just fine if he ever hurts his toes again, so this set will go in his first aid box. I’m ordering two more sets — a 6 and a 5 since his back paws are smaller — and mix them up so that he’ll have two perfectly fitted sets of socks (each set will have two 6’s and two 5’s). I like that the socks are tall and the straps don’t irritate his dew claws. It’s also nice how the straps are removable so you can reposition them like I did with his back paws. And I like how the insides aren’t “stringy” so they don’t snag on his claws as I put them on. The extra-wide, double-sided grips are a nice touch. All in all, I’m very happy with them and he seems to like them too. Definitely would recommend! … more

Work great!
By Mary on Feb 7, 2022
We have had temperatures WAY below zero for 3 weeks. We were afraid our shih tzu would hate boots, so we tried these socks. They are working out great! The rubber paw prints on the front and back provide additional protection against snow and ice (much better than if the socks were all knit) and they dry quickly for the next trip outside. We removed the snap-on velcro straps because we didn’t need them and they made the socks a little tricky to get on. We love these dog socks!

Frisco Non Skid Socks - not a Good Product
By Cindy on Jan 20, 2022
I would not recommend this item. These types of reviews should offer a way to give negative stars because I would give 5 negative stars for this product. These non-skid socks were a HUGE disappointment. They looked like many other. non-skid socks I've purchased in the past to keep my dog from slipping on my hardwood floors; however, the velcro bands around the top of the socks are very, very thin (width) and not very long. If your fur baby has athletic legs it's iffy if the velcro bands that keep the socks from slipping off their feet will go around their legs. I have a 200 lb. Newfoundland and that little velcro band was laughable; however, it did just fit. The other disappointment with the I would not recommend this item. I know my dog is a giant breed but he isn't running through fields of rocks and stickers and bushes. Most Newfies, like mine, are great swimmers but when in the house their sport is couch potato. But the big guy doesn't need non-slip socks in the water so..... These socks were a no go for us. My big guy wore them in the house and he didn't play and rough-house in them and the first thing that happened the snaps on the socks that hold the velcro straps onto the socks all fell off of the socks. I'd find a snap here, there and everywhere! Then I'd find the velcro straps laying around not too far behind. Then I'd find a sock here and over there and one on his foot. It was just dumb. They also had. holes in them before the day was out. I picked these particular socks because they "looked" like socks I had purchased before for my big guy from a different company. That pair of non-skid socks lasted a long time and worked out much better and were better quality. … more

Worked well ....
By Teacher53 on Jan 31, 2022
Bought these for our collie that has an injured foot. I purchased a smaller size than I originally thought I would need. Measuring is key. They have stayed on her feet and not fallen off. They must be comfortable as she does not chew at them to remove them. The sock does twist a little but the non skid points are plenty enough that it still provides the traction she needs to rise up from the floor.

These socks work great on my springer
By customer on Jan 28, 2022
I love these for helping my dog get around stably on our hardwood floors. she had a stroke acouple years ago and as she gets older she is struggling to move around on the floors. These socks helped ALOT! Although I gave them a 4 because they are hard to keep on the grip, the socks droop and then twist so she is often just walking on socks the grip should be all around sock not just top and bottom

Perfect for our need
By Meikasmom on Feb 11, 2022
My 11 year old golden retriever slips on our wood floors. These socks give her traction. They stay on with the (detachable) strap. The strap unsnaps (easier when washing). The Velcro strap is just long enough to use on her back legs. The socks come off when used without straps. I bought the largest size.

Amazing if you’re patient
By teddys on Dec 30, 2021
When I first got these, I thought they weren’t going to work. My dog fought me on them and the sizing. However, over time, they stretched out a bit and he doesn’t mind them anymore. In a rush, they’re hard to take off because of the Velcro strap (they snap off with buttons) but if you’re patient, they’re quite user friendly. I love that the traction is on both sides so even if it slips around, my boy is covered. He gets up easier (he has arthritis so it’s hard either way) on our hardwood floors. He doesn’t have to struggle and slide around. I’m really pleased. I have a 69 pound golden retriever with smaller pounds and ordered a size 5. Overtime they stretched perfectly.
