Greatly recudes the speed at which my cat eats
My cat Puff is a speed eater. And normally when she is done she looms over Echo and uses her presence to push Echo off her bowl. Now that I serve Puff's meals on these, Echo gets to eat in peace. Even when Echo is eating her special chicken flavored food, which is Puff's favorite, even though she is allergic. I like this design because it slows down her eating, but I find that it is not overly difficult for my cat to get the food out of the mat. Easy enough to wash by hand. Have not tested it out in the dish washer yet.
Too intricate, too hard to clean
My cat could not clean the lick mat completely and left almost half a can of food in the grooves. It was almost harder to clean myself even spanking the bottom side for the remaining wet food to fall onto a plate. I would like to return this item.
Frisco Non-Skid Flower Silicone Lick Mat
My cats love this lick mat. Great for liquid treats and wet food. Much more gentle on their whiskers than a normal bowl. It is slightly hard to clean though.

Good but hard to clean
This is great and the kitties love it, but there's only so much they can do to clean it up. It's dishwasher safe, but if you don't have a dishwasher, hand-scrubbing it is a major pain and you should probably have a dedicated toothbrush for it. Can be used for other food-grade silicone purposes eg fondant.
Perfect
This is perfect for our dog who loves peanut butter! Helps her to slow down and really get in the little spots to make sure gets every little bite! Keeps her busy for awhile too! I would definitely recommend!
Helpful item to have
I recently received the Frisco Flower Silicone Dog and Cat Lick Mat to try and it has proven to be a very helpful tool. My dog and cats are difficult when trying to clip their nails. We put the mat out and put peanut butter on it for the dog, and canned cat food on it for the cats. It was a helpful distraction which kept them occupied while we clipped nails. I have also used it with a suction cup to put up in the shower to keep the dog occupied while bathing her. Great product, and easy to clean!
Perfect for cat water fountain!
I purchased several of these to place under my car water fountain and they are perfect! The silicone mats that come with the fountains are thin and my cats just scratch holes in them. This is perfect for keeping the fountain off the floor and my floor dry. Love it and highly recommend!!
My cat likes
This lick mat is good for putting licking treats or food for my cat my cat likes it I guess because while his licking the mat he's also like massaging or brushing his tongue because the mat has like a silicone brush in the middle of the mat and the mat is made of silicone this is a great product .
So durable
I ordered this for the cats and dogs. First test with cats and clickable treats was not too much interest. The second test on my dogs with pumpkin and peanut butter they loved it so now this comes out and the dogs get excited and come running. Thank you so much the dogs give it four paws!
