Helping my puppy so far. He would eat so fast it would cause upset stomach, vomit, & constant whining after. Yet he always thinks he's hungry! This bowl definitely slowed him down. Was larger than I expected too which was great! Plus, for his current size (he's only a few months old but already BIG!) He can't pick it up and carry it off or chew it up .Would recommend!

Great bowl

My dog is a really fast eater which resulted in swallowing a lot of air along with food. She would then burp, and spit up water a food shortly after eating. With this bowl it takes her about 5 mins to eat, and she has not spit up one time after her meals since using this bowl. I would highly recommend.

Works great, could be bigger

I bought this dog bowl to slow down my great dane on his eating. He would literally just eat his food without chewing causing his to choke. This definitely helped with stopping him eating his food whole. BUT it only holds 4 cups of food and he can eat 7-10 in a sitting so if I fill it to max capacity, dog food is strung all over my floor. It does exactly what I needed it to do, slow him down, but I do wish it held more food. I still gave 5 stars

Won't go near it

I like the look and the concept of this dog bowl. Unfortunately my Australian Shepherd will not go anywhere near it. I have left food in it for 1 week and it is still sitting in the bowl. She is not open to new things.

This slow feeder bowl is amazing. Our doodle would eat so fast and immediately vomit it all up. This slows him down and makes mealtime an enriching activity as well. Love the nonskid bottom and ease of picking it up with the space on the sides. My dog and I both prefer this bowl to the more expensive brand we purchased. Easy to pour the kibble in and holds enough for his meals.

Great for Food Bolters - Espechially When On A Diet

My Golden Retriever bolted his food and then acted as though starved- a "little" extra food resulted in a weight gain. I bought this to slow his feeding-which it did. He now actually acts as if he is satiated. There is much less belching than previously. So far I have only washed/wiped out with soapy water once (dishwasher full). Dries quickly. Glad I tried it.

This is the best one ever! We have 6 dogs and 3 different varieties of bowls. This is a gr8 maze for our Shilo! She is now the last to finish eating. It definitely slows her down when "wolfing" her food!

My male Min Pin used to gulp his food so badly that he would choke. Purchased this bowl and he has not choked or gulped his food since I started using it. He is now the last one to finish his food, which is great. Sturdy and on a slant so it is easier for him to get his food. Cleans easily as well.

Too difficult

Our three month old golden would spend 30-45 minutes and still not be able to get down to the food. Went from one extreme to another. We put a small bowl inside his large bowl and fixed the issue
