I had switched cat litter five days ago to Frisco odor defense cat little chamomile scent. The first thing I noticed when pouring is it was pretty much dust free! I don't care for perfume smells so I went for the chamomile scent which was lite enough it didn't overwhelm the senses plus so far it has stayed fresh smelling with only scooping soiled litter. Big plus was I am not getting that high ammonia smell that a lot of clipping litters have after a few days of use. It definitely is true to bag that it clumps better. I was impressed that when scooping soiled clumps it stayed together to keep the rest of the litter clean and dry. My cat is 2 years old and has had the same litter since she was a kitten but she took to this new change perfectly and doesn't seem to mind at all. In face she seems to be less messy when it comes to jumping in and out of her box.
The quality of this litter was a very pleasant surprise! I love the chamomile scent -- it's subtle, fresh, and light, as opposed to most scented litters which are overly perfume-y. I have multiple cats and one has respiratory issues, so I have to be careful with overpowering scents. All were fine with this one. The clumping power is good. Liquids clump up immediately and hold their shape to scoop. All of my cats were willing to use it right away, even my super cautious one who avoids all new things until they're not new anymore. The only thing I'd ding it for is the dust. It generates a fair bit of dust, but then all clay litters do, and this isn't the dustiest I've seen by a long shot. Overall I really liked this litter, and all of my cats were willing to use it without fuss, so that's a win. Also, again, I love the scent. I usually go with unscented litters because scented ones tend to be so overpowering, but this one is light and lovely (never thought I'd be talking about how lovely a litter box smells!).
Day 1, no dust when dumping into litter pan. Lavender smell was not overpowering. Day 7, worked extremely well on clumping. Hardly any tracking, I love that. The smell was ever so slight to where when you walked into the room I could not tell if it was soiled. Never once did I have to "top off" litter pan. The litter around the clumps was minimal. The only complaint was I do not like that it is in a plastic bag. It's very heavy and the plastic bag was hard to pick up without spilling alittle. I will just buy a bucket to dump it in.
I have a 14-year-old mixed Maine Coon cat with kidney disease. His illness causes him to drink a lot of water which in turn means he uses his litter box a lot. His litter box is a self-cleaning one that only works well with clumping litter. This product is working very well in his box and the texture is good as it does not create a cloud of dust when using. The scent is just right as it is not overpowering as experienced when using other scented litters. I generally avoid scented litters because they are too overpowering, however this one is not. It clumps well and I would recommend it for any self-cleaning litter box. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the bag resealable. It is very large and is easily spilled.
I like this litter . . . our multiple cats like it. Low dust, clumps well, scent not overwhelming. Within a half hour of putting it in a litter box (one of many litter boxes) they had 3 pee clumps in it. The clumps held together when scooped. It did take a couple of days for them to poop in it. It seems to last longer than other brands I have used. For me this litter is a win.
This cat litter works well. We received the chamomile scent and it was light in fragrance which was important to us as the boxes are in high traffic areas in our home. Our cats seem to enjoy the small pieces the litter is in amd we enjoy the fact that very little comes out of the box when the cats exit the box. Easy to scoop and clumps well.
I have a one cat home. I used this product in my iRobot Litter box and it did great. Clumping was great, nice calming scent. There was just minor dust. My cat seemed to not mind the change of litter, although I use this brand with the Lavender. Packaging was sturdy and had no issues. I have no complaints about this product.
Very good! I tried this Chamomile scent and was pleasantly surprised that I liked it! I usually go for unscented litter, this has a light, not too overpowering smell to it. Just right. It's listed as low dust and I would agree, it's not dust-free, but pretty good for a clay litter. Easy to scoop and my cats like it!
We have 7 cats, ranging from 7 months old to 9 years old, and all of them seem to enjoy this litter. The scent is very subtle, not overpowering. It clumps very well in our litter robot.
This cat litter has a very nice mild fragrance. My cats seem to like it. The litter isn't too dusty and the bits are larger than expected. I've also noticed less tracking with this litter. The clumps do not fall apart when scooping. The 35 lb bag is difficult to pour.
