Put offensive litter box smells in their place by targeting their source with Frisco Odor Defense Herbal Pine Scented Clumping Clay Cat Litter. This clay litter has a patented odor defense system that works to reduce ammonia, the root cause of litter box odors. It doesn’t just cover up the unpleasant whiffs, but actually works around the clock to protect your nose from offensive smells—and gives it an herbal pine scent. With each use, the odor defense system is automatically activated, keeping the litter box smelling cleaner for longer—whether you have one cat or an entire kitty crew. The ultra-fast clumping action quickly traps and absorbs liquids to form hard clumps that are easy to scoop. Now both you and your kitty can feel good about what’s in the litter box, since it’s low dust for less messes, too. And because it’s formulated to use less litter per clump, you can feel even better knowing you’ll also save money over time.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii, a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.
Natural clay, deodorizing system
Add approximately 4 inches of Frisco cat litter to a clean, dry litter box (this allows your cats to dig and cover their waste naturally). Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away waste. Add more Frisco cat litter as necessary to maintain a depth of 4 inches. Additional Instructions
Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination. Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid. Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Although it said pine scented, it didn't actually smell like plain cat litter. The great thing about it was that our late kitty didn't leave a trail of litter everywhere. It was also really easy to scoop out, and clumped up really well.
Nice scent. Not too strong. The cats like it a lot. Good clumping. Lasts nicely.
No odor!! Works great. A little dusty but I will take that over the smell any day.
Overall, it clumps. Which is I guess the main goal. There is almost no scent which I was pleasantly surprised with. But the day after I tried this brand, I found little foot prints all around my main floor hardwoods. For a moment I was so confused. Then I followed them to the basement door where the litter box is kept. It clicked - this litter gets stuck to my cats paws and for a long time! Seriously. I have 10 steps from the basement and the foot prints covered the main floor. Tried to grab the best photo I had of them. Disgusting. Had this on auto but immediately too off. Never again.
While the odor control is great, this stuff tracks worse than any litter I've used in 26 years of having cats. The litter box is at the back of the house. My bedroom is at the front, down a long carpeted hallway. I'm constantly having to brush the litter off my bed. Ick!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that all 3 cats like the Herbal Pine scented cat litter from Frisco. It works just as well as some of the more popular brands. Some reviewers complain about the heavy plastic bag coming apart during delivery. I ordered 3 bags of the Frisco litter (herbal pine & lavender scent) and each bag came neatly packed into a separate box. I guess Chewy got the hint. As for the heavy lifting, I simply pour one bag into an empty pail and scoop out as needed.
Finally,I have found a cat litter that works. I have tried pretty much every cat litter out there that says it fights odor. None work!! This one works!!!
So this cat litter is my new favorite! I've been using this one for a few months now. Read on for why I have 4 stars instead of 5 (skip to "dust"). Scent: I usually opt for unscented because I don't want my kitties breathing in all those chemicals. However, this scent seems to be a natural one, being herbal pine. I had previously tried the "Feline Pine" cat litter (I do not recommend that one). Thank goodness this scent is a barely there pine scent unlike Feline Pine! Do note that the litterbox I use is a top entry box meaning it is nearly completely closed. Odor control: Again, I use a top entry litterbox (to keep my 3 Jack Russells from eating the cat waste). This litter 100% controls both urine and feces odors!!! I have not had to waste any litter except for the clumps for the first time ever! No more uncontrollable urine smell. Dust: THIS is the reason I gave this litter a 4 star review instead of a 5 star one. Unfortunately this litter is not dust free but I do think it's less than other litters I've tried. Probably not good to use with kitties that have respiratory issues or ones that tend to kick up a lot of dust in the litterbox. My cat doesn't so I will most likely repurchase this. Tracking: Since I use a top entry litterbox I can't exactly say much about tracking. However, it doesn't ever stick to my kitties paws so I'd deem it as low to no tracking. I never have issues with it being right outside the litterbox other than super tiny amounts that take weeks to amount to anything really visible. Clumping: With other litters I've had issues where for some reason after a few weeks the litter wouldn't clump firmly anymore. Not with this one!!! The clumps always stay together as I dig through to remove them. I've had the same amount of litter (none added) for more than a month and still clumps perfectly. Summary: GET THIS LITTER! Really this litter deserves 4.5 stars, minus half a star for still being somewhat dusty upon use. Such a great value and I will be purchasing again. Thank you chewy! (Myla the kitty pictured approves this message).
I decided to try this because my one single cat was stinking up my office after only using a clean litterbox a few days (yes, cleaned several times daily). This clumps well, low dust and best of all, very minimal odor even just after she uses it! The ONLY drawback about it is that it tracks pretty badly and leaves a strange chalky residue on the floor even after sweeping. I may just get her a bigger litter rug, because the odor control trumps the other things.
Love this litter. It does not stick to the litter box as much as other litters. Keeps odors down and low, low dust.
