Overall good, but clip is deceptively small
My pups have 3 connection points for walks (2 on collar, 1 on harness), and by the photos the clips on these leashes looked like they would be the right size to accommodate. The problem is because of the way it opens - folds in instead of sliding down like a standard leash clip - it shrinks the available space when opened. I could get all 3 in with some effort (not fun with excited dogs raring to go), but the clip would no longer close, which defeats the point. I ended up just attaching some spare snap hooks into them to bypass the issue, but just be aware. Otherwise great leash. If I only had 1 or 2 things to clip it on to, would have nothing but praise.
Dog got off leash twice
I have used this leash a handful of times, and my dog has somehow gotten loose from the leash twice. She was calmly walking both times that this occurred (not pulling or doing anything out of the ordinary). It seems that the leash hook is defective. I won't be using this leash anymore.
Clip is too small
Really nice leash, however the leash clip that attaches to the loop on the dog collar is too small, and cannot attach. I had to return it.
great leash for training
i got the collar and leash bundle, and the lightness is perfect for leash training a puppy. i love how the purple looks against my baby's coat
Great lightweight leash for small dogs
This leash is the right length & weight for my small dog (12 pounds). The clasp is easy to use, and is different from the normal 'spring clasps'. It has a bonus ring near the handle that can be used to hook up a poop bag container. I'm planning on buying another to have as a back-up.
A little too wide for my hand
I took a stab at the size (width) that was needed for the leash. If I did it again I would buy a narrower leash. The wide band is not comfortable in the hand and the buckle is a bit cumbersome to attach to the ring. This leash looks good, with a pleasing color that matches his collar I bought elsewhere some months ago.
Slippery to hold
I love the color and that the leash is easy to clean. It is a bit slippery to grip if my dog suddenly pulls on it. It's important to keep your hand in the handle.
Started ok, ended not so ok.
I purchased 2 of these several months ago (2 dogs). I liked the clip at first but then it didn’t stay clipped to the collar and dog got loose. I figured maybe I didn’t have it clipped fully. Then two weeks later the entire clip pulled out of the receiver portion of the clip and once again, loose dog. Good thing I have good voice control with her. I tossed both in the trash when we got home from our walk tonight.
Broke in 2 days
My 5 month old puppy was mindlessly chewing on this leash and it just broke in half.
