Well made harness
This is a well made and durable harness. I ordered this harness thinking that the harness Paris was wearing was causing her limp and causing some discomfort. Paris did not like going back to this type of harness and I remembered why I switched when I put it on her and she was out of it in minutes. I am hoping it will fit Gypsy but if it does not I will take it to the rescue I volunteer for.
Sturdy but will not purchase again
We bought this harness a year and 4 months ago so I have given it time before I reviewed it. We had bought a large for our 85 lb English lab who has a 23.5 inch neck and 33 inch chest. While our dog is not an extreme puller, he does tend to pull a fair amount on walks and this harness has held up to that. He also has had some moments of consistent lungeing and we had no issue with it so I feel this is a pretty sturdy harness. The reason I give it 3 stars is because when we tighten the harness as directed, it is too snug for my dog and for awhile he would arch his back and not want us to put it on. We use it a little more loose now but it slides back and forth on him when he goes in any direction on our walks. It also chafes his armpits. If your dog never pulls on walks it might not be an issue. Another problem we have with it is that if our dog backs up the harness rides up towards his neck and he can easily slip out. Luckily our dog does not care to try to escape but it can be an issue for someone else. It is worse since we loosened it but it has always been that way regardless of how it was tightened, possibly because he has a barrel chest. After awhile of owning it the straps also become a little looser on their own and have to be retightened. We do not use the front ring with the leash but the one on the back has some fraying now. For someone with a large breed dog I probably would be hesitant to recommend it for those reasons.

It’s a good harness, I just wish it came a size smaller. It swims on my lil guy and his legs pop out on either side. But I also bought it before he came home
Good quality but not chew-resistant
Very comfortable for my dog but I originally bought the Frisco harness without padding and he chewed right through it. Bought this one and the same thing happened. It is great quality but it should be noted that he's never chewed through anything before other than these two harnesses, he's a 15 lb mini labradoodle. Great quality though
Not my favorite
Too bulky. It had way too much padding. This was my least favorite item I purchased last month.
Great Harness
Recently, I purchased this harness for my dog. It fits well and is comfortable for her to wear.
neck too big
I’m disappointed they don’t make a smaller size because my dog is 17” around the chest but her neck is only 9” and this harness wasn’t adjustable enough in the front to be safe for her. It slides around way too much. I thought it might be workable but it’s just not.
great vest
Great vest/harness. My puppy chewed through it when I left it unattended so I went to order a new one and it was out of stock. It's lightweight and super easy to use, dries quickly and I wish I had another!
Perfect for what I need!
I have to be a little picky about harnesses as my dog has a way of slipping out when he's scared. So, I bought him this one when his old one started getting stinky, and I love it! It looks so good, and he cannot escape it! Comfortable and handsome, walks with Castor are hassle-free and fun!
Odd sizing
I really wanted to like this harness, but the sizing is just too off to fit my dog properly. The chest fits fine, and I even had to lengthen the straps to accommodate her, but the neck is extremely chunky and loose! Even if it had fit properly, the styling is so over-padded and structured that it made my dog look a little suffocated even while it was bouncing all over the place (because too big). She was glad to get it off. I'll have to return it, and unfortunately the size down is backordered.
