Gift
Gave it to a friend who lives along the water. She takes stray cats and gets them fixed, then releases them. She decided to use this as a food and water house as birds come down and mess up the water and food. The roof opens up at the top for easy access. She is very happy. Thanks
Great outdoor feeding station
Assembled easily. The holes for the top hinges were not drilled on the back panel. Marked them and drilled them myself. Installation of the hold-open device for the top is much easier if you lay the box on the left side and open the top for installation -- keeps the top from closing, avoiding personal injury. I wanted a cat house that opened from the top to replenish the food and water dishes. The water stays bug-free and cooler as well.
Outdoor Cat Shelter
Its just okay for a basic structure . But if you really intend to use it for outdoor winter cat shelter know you will need many upgrades to make it a viable shelter. There are gaps in the wood and the lid making insulating the shelter internally with foam board ... you will also have to purchase the heat pad separately and then you will need plenty of straw for bedding .... almost another $100 on top of the shelter purchase ....
Cat Home for the outside
This was easy to put together. It's sturdy and now I just need to get the cats to go in. I do recommend this product. Great price and Great product.

Added a pet heating pad, hay & a comfy blanket. Food & water inside also ( so water won't freeze)

My cat likes it. I just wish that the roof would not have been plastic, because in heavy rain in scared the cats.
