Remember to measure your pet for the paw-fect fit. The Frisco Padded Front Lead Dog Harness is a great option for pet parents looking for a comfortable harness that will give them additional control on their walks. Made with high-quality nylon webbing for durability and a padded mesh chest piece, this harness makes sure that your pup is both secure and comfortable. The O-ring leash attachment on the front of the chest piece discourages pulling by naturally redirecting your dog’s attention back to you without causing neck strain. It is great for dogs in training or dogs that need a little extra encouragement to walk nicely on the leash. The over-the-head style harness features two fast-release buckles on either side of the belly strap, which makes it easy to get on and off your pup. There are adjustable slides on the belly strap and both sides of the shoulder straps, so that you can make sure the harness fits your pup perfectly. It offers an additional leash attachment D-ring on the back of the harness, so it can be used like a traditional dog harness as well. This harness comes in sizes from small to extra-large in four different colors—pink, red, blue and black—so you can choose the one that best suits your pup and their style.

Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

Charlie is a 75# husky mix that pulled me along our walks. He is also dog reactive and REALLY wants to play with others as we walk by. This front clip harness is a dream come true! He is an angel on our walks, no tugging! Then he sees other fur friends, he still tries to go over and play (we are still working on training) but now it is easy to control and redirect him. The harness seems very comfortable and I have confidence that he won't slip out of it when he tries to bolt. The only negative I have is that it moves a little (side to side depending on which side the leash falls) .He does not even notice the movement. Because it does slide a little (over a few weeks), I appreciate the front padding to keep him comfortable. This is amazing for the price and it looks good too.
I really enjoy this item. It took time to adjust the measurements to my 7 mos. old Corgi but it fits good. She adapted to it right away. Harnesses are good for dogs with long bodies like a corgi. I used the back ring behind the neck but she still pulled. What I didn't know was I needed to use the front ring to stop the pulling. It worked. Our walks are more pleasurable now because the pull is minimal and it just takes a slight flip of the wrist to correct her. I'm glad I got this type with two rings. The pictures show me using the back ring but I switched to the front ring for more control.
My pup loves this harness! He chewed on his last one while wearing it, it was ill fitting and; moreover, was obviously uncomfortable on him. While wearing this one, he plays with his toys and lives his life. I'm very pleased. He is 2.5 months old and is my service dog in training so having a harness to use that gets him used to wearing a harness all the time is vital to our companionship.
This harness is OK for an older dog, but not a puppy. I say that because our puppy was able to chew through the strap on the second day, which means you cannot leave it on them for an extended period of time. On our older dog, who is out of the chewing stage, it was fine. The workmanship of the harness was very good, just not a good product for a puppy in the chewing faze.
This is a nice harness. I like that both sides unclip which makes it easier to put on the dog, no more lifting one leg. The problem I have is the color fades. I bought the pink and after several months the color is a very pale pale pink on the top and sides of the harness where the sun reaches.
one hand on this and one on a diaper gets her up the custom ramp i made and into the custom flat dog bed i made in the back of my car so she's not tortured in the bucket seats made for humans(?)
I would not buy another one, it doesn't stay in place and slides all around the puppy's back. I think I solved the problem by stitching the straps to the harness. It's for a 4 month old puppy so we will be upgrading to a bigger size and better harness soon.
this vest is the best thing for a doggie that pulls on a walk. The very first time we put it on, it worked! We call it the magic vest! We don't know why, but the doggie does not pull!!
Ive been walking my Malamute and Shepard for 8 years. Tried different products. (gentle leader constantly trying to get off face, harnesses felt like I was leading a search party, choke collars etc.) This is the first product that slows them and they look comfortable in. Also does not wear off hair on chest or under legs. Just hook to chest ring after adjustments. Wish I had bought this years sooner.
Worthless, straps are hard to adjust and don't stay tight. Impossible to get a good fit. Mesh pad doesn't stay in place. Was looking for some inexpensive for my 3 month old Golden Puppy since she will out grow it. Should have just spent more for a quality product. All the strap based harness are trash
