The Frisco Padded Front Lead Dog Harness is a great option for pet parents looking for a comfortable harness that will give them additional control on their walks. Made with high-quality nylon webbing for durability and a padded mesh chest piece, this harness makes sure that your pup is both secure and comfortable. The O-ring leash attachment on the front of the chest piece discourages pulling by naturally redirecting your dog’s attention back to you without causing neck strain. It is great for dogs in training or dogs that need a little extra encouragement to walk nicely on the leash. The over-the-head style harness features two fast-release buckles on either side of the belly strap, which makes it easy to get on and off your pup. There are adjustable slides on the belly strap and both sides of the shoulder straps, so that you can make sure the harness fits your pup perfectly. It offers an additional leash attachment D-ring on the back of the harness, so it can be used like a traditional dog harness as well. This harness comes in sizes from small to extra-large in four different colors—pink, red, blue and black—so you can choose the one that best suits your pup and their style.

I measured my dog before ordering and placed the order for the size recommended, and it did not fit her well at all. I bought it the day before leaving for our vacation so I did not have time to replace it or I would have. We struggled with it the entire week we were away. As soon as we got home, we took it off and threw it out. It was a very disappointing purchase for us. It twisted sideways no matter how many times I adjusted it. (I am a former vet tech, I know how to use these lol) so it was not user error. Don’t purchase.
I've been using mine for 3 years and couldn't be happier. It is just now showing signs of needing to be replaced. The back ring doesn't do much about the pulling but the front ring attachment is a game changer. My dog is 50lbs and loves to pull; if I have it on the front ring we have a nice, chill walk. My only complaint is that it gets caught under one of her front legs often, but not enough to matter. We just roll with it, doesn't seem to faze her. This harness is worth every penny.
Excellent quality. We love that it slips on over the head rather than the legs. We also like that have the option to hook the leash in the front or back of the harness. It fits perfectly. We bought one for each of our dogs and both dogs’ harnesses were a perfect fit.
I got this based on Wirecutter and other customers' reviews and am glad I did. The size is exactly right and it's easy to adjust so my dog doesn't wriggle out of it like he did with the no-pull harness I had before. This is easy to get on and off too.
Charlie is a 75# husky mix that pulled me along our walks. He is also dog reactive and REALLY wants to play with others as we walk by. This front clip harness is a dream come true! He is an angel on our walks, no tugging! Then he sees other fur friends, he still tries to go over and play (we are still working on training) but now it is easy to control and redirect him. The harness seems very comfortable and I have confidence that he won't slip out of it when he tries to bolt. The only negative I have is that it moves a little (side to side depending on which side the leash falls) .He does not even notice the movement. Because it does slide a little (over a few weeks), I appreciate the front padding to keep him comfortable. This is amazing for the price and it looks good too.
Bought this item for my small Havanese girl. Fits perfectly and is very durable, looks great on her. Glad I purchased it and would buy another one when this one wears out or want to change color, thanks Chewy for providing choices with products that are quality!
Nice Harness, but if your dog likes to chewy things this is no for him. We were in the car for 1 hour by the time we reached our destination he had chewed through the strap.
Laika is my 70 lb Siberian Husky. She loves walks, but her pulling made it so difficult. This harness reduces pulling and makes walks so much better. I got an XL, but probably should have ordered L. Highly recommend and LOVE how it does not choke her.
I got in the smallest size in pink, and it's too big and doesn't tighten enough to be usable for a while. Also the pink is almost a neon pink. Which I was disappointed about.
I really enjoy this item. It took time to adjust the measurements to my 7 mos. old Corgi but it fits good. She adapted to it right away. Harnesses are good for dogs with long bodies like a corgi. I used the back ring behind the neck but she still pulled. What I didn't know was I needed to use the front ring to stop the pulling. It worked. Our walks are more pleasurable now because the pull is minimal and it just takes a slight flip of the wrist to correct her. I'm glad I got this type with two rings. The pictures show me using the back ring but I switched to the front ring for more control.
