Jailed Mouse

Our cat stole it as I was going through the box. She put it in her hiding spot, but brings it out to play a lot. Se loves it.

May need some help

Based on how my cat enjoys another ball—formed of entwined [rubber? plastic?] cords around a tiny bell—I thought this would be a shoe-in. After investigating this toy, she pawed and batted it a bit and then lost interest. I suspect we need to put it into our “catnip bag” for a while, to make the captive mouse more interesting. I still think this toy is well-conceived.

Liked the idea of this toy, but it is loud... I didn't realize it was metal until I read some of the other reviews after purchasing. I am worried about it scratching the floors as well.

The ball is metal and loud on a non-carpeted floor. The kittens did not like the metal or the noise. The size is good and the mouse inside is what they play with.

Heavy metal ball

The ball around the mouse is heavy metal. I tried rolling this on the floor and it clunked around. My cat could not even bat it, and I worried about her hurting her teeth. I had to toss it. Never felt a cat toy as heavy as this... whoever designed it must not have ever had a cat?

Got this just to round up for free shipping, I assumed it would be cheap plastic but the ball is metal and it makes different noises depending on the type of flooring its being played with on. My 4 month old kitten loves it! Bats it around and carries it through the house by the mouse tail. I’ll likely buy another just in case anything happens to it, as its now one of his faves.

Our 4-month old kitty loves to chase mice and balls and this combines both. He bats it around the house and since we have concrete floors when the hard, thick wire ball touches the surface it makes a sound almost like a bell, which entices our kitty even more.
