So I was nervous about buying a personalized frame for my baby’s birthday because the reviews were sparse and not great. But I wanted to give it a try, and I’m glad I did! You’re able to customize the color of the lettering, and then you add your own little personalization in print right below the frame. I put his name - Mochi - and his birthday, and the way it’s printed it looks kind of like a little tag or post-it note. I chose a font that’s sort of handwriting style and it came out really cute. The preview you get of your item before you order it is accurate considering the actual product I received. You will have to actually use a computer or laptop to customize it because the app doesn’t support that, which was fine with me. I know so many people are used to using their phones for everything, because you have a browser on your phone too, but this did require using a desktop of some sort. I didn’t try it it on my iPad but I don’t think it would’ve worked. It was easier to see on my laptop screen anyway! :) A complaint I noticed on this or maybe a different custom frame is that there’s this weird line that cuts through the letters on the top and a vertical one also, and they don’t seem to be intentional design features because they don’t add anything, so I’m not sure why they’re there. They don’t show in every photo but when you preview your customized product you’ll see them. Personally, I don’t mind them. I think the frame is super cute and they’re subtle enough that I don’t think anyone would point them out. I am curious why the lines are there in the first place, and they’re on every customizable frame I looked at, but overall I wasn’t bothered by them. I wouldn’t be bothered if they were gone either lol but truly it didn’t affect the quality of the product in my opinion. The frame is really thick and sturdy, and it’s got a nice glossy finish to the border. I love how it looks with his name and birthday on it. Now I just have to actually print a photograph of him to put in it! He’s the sweetest boy and I know he’s just a cat and he doesn’t even know what a picture frame is, but it’s a cute birthday gift (for me, really, lol) and I definitely recommend it to anyone considering this. (My only caution would be to find a stock photo that shows those lines and see if they bother you or not, before you order. They really aren’t bad, especially with this frame since it’s sort of meant to look “rough” or handmade given the design.) If you’re wavering, go for it! I think you’ll be happy with a cute customized frame for your pet. <3
I got it in Blue and it looks very nice. It’s very firm and not flimsy like some other frames.
