This toy is kinda weak. I was expecting it to be more durable.
The boomerang part it like a foam combined with rubber kind of material, which is nice for not hurting the dog if it gets hit by it but I won't be able to leave this alone with my dog so she doesn't end up chewing it up. The boomerang part is actually fairly sturdy to chew just not for excessive chewing, my dog chewed it a little and it didn't seem to get much damage other than minor teeth marks. I don't get how you can throw the thing with the ball in it, the ball didn't stay in for me so I just threw them separately. The ball on the other hand is not a good toy, it is one of the worst dog tennis balls I've ever seen, I was not expecting that from something with the Chewy logo on it. My dog played with the tennis ball twice for a short period of time and the thing is trash now. She has no problems with real tennis balls, she's had a regular tennis ball for the better part of a year that says outside with her all the time and she hasn't destroyed it yet, and she's not an excessive chewer, the Chewy tennis ball is not a good ball.
Ball didn’t last
Ball was very difficult to get in to the center. I couldn’t get it all the way in, so my dog removed it within 2 minutes had it destroyed. I’m hoping a regular tennis ball will fit in center.
Not for large dogs
My dog chewed through it in 5 mins. Had to throw away. Not worth it

My dog had it for 5 mins and ripped piece off it and the ball is really small .

Good toy for fetch!
Great toy for fetch. My dog loves this toy and carries it around. Probably wouldn’t stand up to any chewing. Not good for tug either. But throws well and is easy for my dog to pick up and carry. She has a light-up ball that we put into the middle at night to play with. It is very hard to put the ball in the middle and it pops out easily so we usually just play with it without the tennis ball. It’s a very fun and versatile toy.
This toy is the bomb
The Frisco Plastic tri flyer is great. My dog loves it. It throws easily and she loves that it bounces on the ground too. Good for hard surfaces or grass and dirt. Easy to throw and easy for dogs to pickup. Good price too. I definitely will getting more of them when this one wears out.
Fun while it lasted
I had to laugh at the previous review my golden ripped it open in one section in seconds too. We are still using it and she loves playing with it but it doesn’t fly as well now and I have to keep a close eye on her. Love the concept and shape of it just wish it was made of tougher material because she does love it. Because it can be destroyed easy by a chewer I can’t recommend it unless your dog doesn’t destroy their toys.
Destroyed in seconds
I bought this for our English Bull dog & Golden Retriever. The Golden had it destroyed in seconds. Probably would be a good toy for a non chewing dog.
