I had bought an XL gray (as shown in the advertisement) for my two whippets and they really like it. It is in my living room and they happily share it. Even my daughter's dog loves it and waits for his 'turn'. I have considered buying him one of his own. When it came time for the two dog beds in our bedroom to be replaced, I unhesitatingly bought two more Frisco beds in XL. (Whippets stretch out!). I was so disappointed to find that the gray was out of stock but thinking that the color didn't matter, settled for the beige color. Unfortunately, the color was not the only difference; the bed cover area is now a thin suede like fabric that I just know is not going to hold up like the fleece covering on the original gray bed. I am considering returning the beds.
Wasn’t my top choice in orthopedic bed based on reviews, but our other one has been out of stock everywhere for awhile, so landed on this. Our oldest girl is 13, and this bed has good support for her joints that often bother her. She’s 50 lbs and takes up half the XL, so plently of room to snuggle her sisters. The beige is a nice and light neutral color too which is great. Overall I’m happy
Daisy is enjoying her new TV bed. She especially likes the bumper edges because she likes to snooze with her head either resting there or splayed over the edge. She's a long dog (suspected longhaired Dachshund in DNA), but likes to curl up. This is an orthopedic bed, but I liked the easy entry and bolster side. I wasn't sure if Daisy (only 3 years) would like the firm cushion, but she does.
We purchased the large sized bed for our 50 lb. pitbull for recovery from TPLO (knee) surgery. This bed was absolutely perfect for her since the bottom foam is sturdy and supportive while the side bolster is soft and comforting. The fabric is plush and is very easy to launder. This is an amazing orthopedic bed and has lasted us 5 years!
Our little girl absolutely loved her bed. She took to it immediately when I unpacked it. The sides are sturdy, and there is plenty of cushion in the bottom.
I have four of these gray XL bed in my house. Two of them I bought a few years ago, and two are new. They have held up well and the cover comes off to make washing it easy.
I bought this bed for my pug. He loved it and he likes to rest his head on the borders. It has a removable cover so it's very easy to clean. I don't put it in the washer it's too large i just scrub it with a brush and let it dry. This was the perfect bed until i got puppies and they destroyed it. Anyway, i bought a new one because i really love this bed.
I had two of these beds for my two dogs. When I got a third dog, I got a different bed (just a different style and name brand but still an orthopedic bed). All of my dogs preferred these beds over the new one that I got. To the point that the third one(whichever one got to the beds last) would try to bully the others and take their beds. It got to the point that I bought a third one of these beds just so they would all have their very own. My dog's range in age from one year to 12 years and they all love this bed.
We bought this for our aging 16 lb. shih tzu. While the bed itself if great, sturdy and truly orthopedic, the cheap fur "cover" attached to the canvas cover ripped out within 16 months. By now it's almost disintegrated. Because it's almost two years, Chewy would not even discuss a replacement cover and just suggested "you just sew it." Unacceptable answer. Because it literally fell apart, I won't be replacing it with another such bed.
I have 3 older dogs, this bed is great for all 3. it's machine washable and so sturdy. Beautifully made and super quality. thick memory foam, great outside material. All around 10 out of 10!
