I have my boxer and cat who have both had recent surgeries, so we needed to change their current beds for new ones for accidents from the meds. I saw this one and saw that it's supposed to be an orthopedic pillow type dog bed, figure hey why not. Well, was I wrong. I unpacked it to find out the insert was all broken up within its sack so a bunch of memory foam pieces instead of a compressed full memory foam piece, and when the pets lay on them they sink even my cat 8.5lbs dips in it. I buy most of my pet items here, and this has been my first disappointment. Do not recommend this item.
I received this right at a month ago and purchased for my 12-year-old pointer mix (55lbs). With it being orthopedic I was really hoping it would provide support since she's starting to struggle getting around. Within a couple weeks it sank in and was completely deformed. I recently got rid of a bed I've had for well over a year (her younger brother used it as a chew toy) and even it never sank from the consistent use. Extremely bummed and will be purchasing something different now.
I got this bed for my 75lb almost 7 y.o. Berner (she's a smaller girl). It is in our room and she is only allowed there when invited. I wasn't expecting it to be the best quality bed, but after 30 minutes of her laying on the bed for the first time, it essentially deflated. Most of the bed is compressed. I'm not even sure how the golden-looking dog is up so high in the picture. It's fine if you just want to give your dog a place to lay, but if you're actually looking for something Orthopedic I'd recommend another product.
Perfect for my 68 lb golden retriever to curl up on. She would drag her pad all over the bedroom and we never knew where she was sleeping. I put her pad inside of this bed which gave it more weight and firmness--no more dragging. The price was definitely a plus.
This is our second Frisco Orthopedic dog bed and I couldn't be more pleased with them. They offer comfortable support for my senior dogs, are well made and the covers wash up very nicely. I would highly recommend these Frisco beds. Plus the buying experience was, as always with Chewy, easy and quick.
I am so bummed with this bed! I have 2 GSDs and a great Dane, so I am always looking for large, sturdy, comfortable dog beds. This is not it. Safe your money and get the XL one, not this one. I was very pleased with the size down, but this one seems to have no stuffing, and doesn't give much support. Definitely bummed, but save yourself and buy the XL- not this one, (XXL)
I looked at the photos and saw a solid sponge cushion. Should have read the description better as it is shredded. My fault for being lazy n trusting pictures. I guess it's ok. Roxy likes it. Now we have to wait and see how it holds up. She's a very big girl.
They looked nice, ordered two. Each came in a separate box that you could have put at least 6 of these beds in. They're so flimsy that they folded over in thirds in the box. I have comforters that have more batting in them. This is the first item I have ever wanted to return. Chewy gets five stars for their customer service; refunded my money and told me to donate the beds to the animal shelter. Thank you Chewy.
We got the bed today. As usual from Chewey, it was fast shipping. We will need to get another one, though as this is not as big as I thought is was going to be. We have 2 BIG doggos. Molly kinda fits on the bed, will try a xx-large next purchase.
This bed is well made and comfortable but I do not think it is the right one for Paris. She has laid on it a couple of times and it took me laying with her for her to try it. She acts like she has a hard time getting out of this bed and she is real stiff when she gets up. I guess I will be doing more research and trying another orthopedic bed. I hate that this bed did not work for her because it is really nice.
