It will do
I bought 2 of these for my older dog. He wont even get on it. On the other hand, my other dog seems to really like them. They are nicely made, but one thing I could not help but notice is that they flatten out rather quickly. I have only had them for 2 days and I find myself having to shake them out to fluff them up several times a day. But I guess as long as one of my dogs likes them it is better than none. I will just keep looking for another one that my older dog will like.
I can't tell you how much I loved this Dog Bed!
In the years past, I've gone through so many beds for my dogs, and FINALLY found the best one. This bed is so thick and comfortable for dogs. My oldest dog, a large Weimaraner who is now 14 years old, has issues with urinating on his bed. Fortunately, I had purchased in 2021 from Chewy the 4Kninines Waterproof Dog Liner in medium size for the sack of filler that is in this bed (large size bed). It works perfectly! There has been several times that I have only needed to wash just the bed cover. However, when liner gets wet at times, it does not seep into the sack of filler therefore no need in dealing with that. I just air it out while bed cover and liner is in the wash. So if you're going through the same issues I have had with my older dog, I strongly suggest you also purchased the waterproof liner. As I said, the dogs love this bed and I do too!
Awesome Bed & Great Value
This is an awesome long lasting bed and I am glad to have purchased it. My Borador loves it and although she could probably have used a bit bigger size for stretching out, it is perfect for curling up on. The cover is durable, plush, and washes up nicely. When my older small dog was around she had a couple of accidents on it and I drizzled some laundry soap over it and hosed down the inside of it and left it to dry out in the sun on a warm day with no issues. Not sure it would have fit in or held up in my front loader. The value for the price will keep me coming back to this bed, but this one will last me for years.
Looks comfy
This bed looks super comfortable and all of my pets like it so far. I purchased this bed because my dog is having trouble jumping up onto my bed since she’s getting older. My one complaint is that this bed is really thick but it sinks way down when my dog steps on it, which makes it difficult for an older dog to get on and off of it. She nearly fell down the first time she tried, but I think she has it figured out now. Might be better for an older pet if it was just a bit firmer. But she seems satisfied with it!
TOTO PREFERS the FLOOR
This bed nothing but a floppy rug. I can't even say "pillow". There is no oomph to it & if my dog were to flop on it, he would feel like he hit the hard floor. There is no cushioning to it at all. It was on sale. I guess you get what you pay for. I would return but it will cost more than its worth.
Not made like it used to be
I have several of these beds from years past and they were great. Heavily filled with stuffing. They have been out of stock for the xxlarge and when it came back I was so glad. The ones they brought back are a joke. This has less than half of the stuffing the beds used to have. Laying it down flat there is actually large spots of the bed that have no stuffing at all. Very sad they aren't the same quality.
Not good..
We bought this bed for our adopted pup. She has a buckshot in her hip that's been there for so long that her muscle grew around it. Naturally, we decided to get her a bed that we thought was orthopedic and thick enough for her to be comfortable in without sinking into it and touching the floor. the bed is thinner than the pictures, and is sad looking. The bed is basically a giant thin fabric bag that has broken up pieces of foam thrown into it, and then the removeable cover. I can only assume that the foam pieces were discarded from orthopedic beds that were trimmed off or recycled. Definitely wouldn't recommend, and searching for a better bed.
NOT an orthopedic bed
This is not a solid bed as indicated in the pictures and item description. It is filled with chopped foam pieces. I bought 2 for my 15 YO lab mix, but he won't use them because the filling shifts and slides under his feet.
She laid on at the moment I took out of the box
Its a giant pillow My dog loves anything soft and plushy so this the perfect bed for her I wish it had water proof liner in it as well so nothing gets on the inside
not orthopedic
Very disappointed. Bought this product last year and was so impressed that I wanted to get a second one for our new puppy. Unfortunately, the new one doesn’t hold its form and sinks down when my dog lays in it which makes it completely useless. Not worth the money.
